Heck, I thought the old ones were fine. But I think the new covers for a few (like 4 and 5) are pretty sweet. Not so much with the new one for 10 (because the old one was amazing, it had saint dane).

i love the old covers, i like how on the spine there is the different colors on the top. it looks cool to have all the books with the colors together like that. however i will say the 9th cover looks bad ass! i am currently getting the 9th and 10th from amazon today, i am honestly hoping i get the original covers just to keep the trend on my book case going but if i get the new covers i wont complain.

I think that the old covers are the best because on Soldiers of Halla you actually can see what Saint Dane looks like.

I like the older ones because they tell a little more about the book. Maybe then people wont judge a book by its cover, if its an awesome cover.

I like the old ones better because it allowed you to see the age progression of Bobby and how some of the other characters look. Not to mention a little idea of the territory that they are dealing with. The new ones aren’t bad and I like that I now know I was partially wrong in how the ring looks. But while they are more “modern” they don’t hold the same feel in my opinion comparatively.

I have read all but the tenth so, planning on buying that soon. I have looked up the cover, though. I like to take a glance for myself. I think I prefer all of the old covers over the new. The paper of the old covers feels legit, unlike the cheap quality of the new ones. I own 1-9, 1-6 are the old, and 7-9 are new. I just feel better when I pickup a book with the old covers. I also like seeing the characters, though. You always have the image in your head of how you view each character but, seeing someone else’s perspective with such creativity is luxurious.
