adam seriously ive never heard anything more stupid in my life the rift is what damon created to break the barrier between the black and the light in order to return to the light and conquer it. the first book the light was referred to as life before death. the second book the black was referred to as life after death. if the 3rd book is called the rift it would refer to the barrier between the black and the light. so you couldnt be more wrong. the 3rd book is definately called the blood

Umm bro Adam you sound dumb as hell first off, Its a book, Just cause every little detail isnt severely thought about in order to have the book make complete sense doesent mean anything, Plus thoe Poleax’s power is the power to eliminate matter smart ass as in the souls. and I got the name for the 3rd from Dj Machale at a signing and he even said its called the blood. and The blood was reffered to MANY times in the previous book. Try reading them you arrogant son of a bitch

Also, the visions are supposed to abide by the laws of physics. According to those rules, matter cannot be created nor destroyed. Everything is made of matter, so it would be impossible for the souls to have been wiped out of existence.
The title for Morpheus Road #3 could not be the blood. For one, the titles reference not just any place mentioned in the previous book, but they also carry a major signficance in the book. Marsh is the main character in the 3rd book, so unless he becomes a very bad boy then dies, there is not much sense in the title being the Blood. It is most definitely the Rift.

Actually, I have theorized that the black swords imprisoned the souls of which they “destroyed”. If you read some of the details more closely, you may notice that Machale writes that the ancient warriors believed that the souls became part of the weapon that killed them. That also leeds me to theorize that the more souls the weapon has taken, the more power it has.

The 3rd blook is gonna be titled “The Blood” I finished book 1 and 2 shortly afte rboth were released. Its a great series. And to those of you that do not know what the poleax is its a weapon that hold the same properties as the black swords that Damon uses. It can extinguish a spirits full existence and also bring them back through the rift. So basicaly the poleax is the power to bring a person back to life and kill them again then again and again
