I’d have to say Marsh. I remember first reading The Light and thinking, “Wow, Marsh and I have a lot in common”, especially since I’m like Marsh in the sense that I’m a little “nerdy”, and love drawing and whatnot 😛

I most definitely relate with marsh. I am what my friends call a “goody goody” because I am just so not bad. I am also very nerdy cuz I am a girl and I program robots in competitions. I also really like drawing even though I am not that good at it. Marsh, u are amazing!

I’m kind of a more in between; sort of a nerd (just smart), but i dont keep my grades up very well. I’m more of a goof, and I hang out with anybody that’s “cool” or anybody that wants to hang out.

geez… this is a tough one!
Well, on marsh’s side, i like to read “comic books” (graphic novels A.K.A. mangas) and just plain out read. I get in trouble for reading (if you don’t believe me, ask ANYONE in my math class). I am really smart (i get to go into Algebra 1 during seventh grade!) and I like to draw (i draw people with big feet, small bodies, big heads, no eyes). I keep one foot firmly into “childhood” (well, more like one pair of pants)
On coop’s side, I’m a total goof (ask my math class, they call me weird, and i admit it!). I go into “trouble town” alot when i read (ask my math teacher about today! or was it yesterday?). I am ready for a big adventure anytime (MOVING BACK TO THE STATES AFTER THREE YEARS COUNTS AS AN ADVENTURE!!!)! I experinced what most kids shouldn’t expirence (actually, i experinced it, 5 times… and I go there so often, everytime a family member goes there for an appointment, i get the braclet!)
So I would have to say… I’m Zoe! I like a good fight, I perfer to look like a boy, and i gotten beat up by a boy recently! (yes, my brother is a boy.)

I know who is DEFFINATLY a Marsh… a boy at my school got 4th place in all of Dodds – and that school distric spans the world! If there wasn’t a limit for how many grade-levels higher than your grade level for math at my school, that 6th grader (I’m a sixth grader too) would by taking math at the high school! ONLY EIGHTH GRADERS AND UP GO TO THE HIGH SCHOOL FOR MATH!!! I’m stuck in sixth grade math, and Algebra One is a small challenge for me!

Hmm.. I’d say I’m more of a Marsh. I mean, I’m doing 9th grade everything except math when I’m only in 8th grade.. so next year when I go off to public school for the first time since 1ST GRADE it’ll be pretty easy for me. I also love graphic novels and I love to draw.

As a kid/teenager I was probably a lot more like Marsh, but I’ve grown up to be more like Coop. True, I don’t get into a lot of trouble, but I feel like Coop learned a lot of responsibility and went through a lot of psychological struggle to figure out what was really important to him. I can really really relate to that at this time in my life.

My mom wanted me to help her find some rated G movies around the house today, and in the end we found “Herbie Goes Bananas” and (sadly,it isn’t a movie, but it’s just a book Jerry says is lame because books make you dumb and video games make you smart, well, HA, JERRY!!!) The Light!

eelong rulz, lol! My sister used to absolutely HATE reading. But then I read the Percy Jackson series to her, and then she started to read more. So one day, I got MR: The Light from the library, and I read it and I couldn’t put it down. So she goes up to me and she’s like “What are you reading, Julia?” and I’m like Morpheus Road. She asked if she would like it and, in an attempt to get her creeped out, I said: It’s about this guy named Marshal Seaver. His drawing of this creepy guy named Gravedigger comes to life and tries to kill him. While it’s driving him off the edge, he tells other people and practically drives them off the edge. Oh, and also, his friend is missing and is quite possibly dead. Then in the creepiest voice I could manage is whispered “Morpheus Road..” then she got and freaked out and ran to her room.. Lol 😀

He acts like Bobby Pendragon and since i read all the Pendragons (and that they’re my favorite books) i relate to him more than Marsh.

When I was younger (AKA last year) I hated reading! My brother hated reading too. One day we each picked up book, my brother The Lightning Theif, me The Merchant f Death. I loved reading after that book, but my brother hated reading. He eventually got tired of me bragging of how awesome my book was, so he started reading my book, and he loved reading after that! We have you to thank for the love of reading!

btw epic artist above ^ im more of a chicken coop when i do 360’s,180’s, jumps, flips,wheelies,manuals and other bike,scooter and ripstik/skateboard tricks but im more of a marsh when it comes to drawing creepy things(emo kids with cut arms,zombies,robot zombies, and then putting them into my novels)writing and everybody calls me an epic nerd. star wars and indiana jones are some of my favorite movies and morpheus road is my fave book. i picked up my book in class and my teacher jumped when she saw the cover. hey who wants to bet if i tried drawing an exact replica of the front of The Light(original) he’ll post it? nobody has ever seen my drawings!

I honestly don’t know which one I’m more like. I get into alot of trouble. But I am a kind of a geek. I play football but I also am usually the one that talks people out of doing bad things, and sometimes I follow through with it. So If you combigned them together that would be me.

I relate more to Marsh. I’m very geeky, like him, and I’m also a good friend, like him. I actually find it very hard to read from Cooper’s perspective (don’t get me wrong, I loved The Black) because I don’t relate with him at all. I really like both of the characters, especially their very close (sometimes a little to close hint hint wink wink) friendship.

I’m more of a Marsh. He’s a little more relatable with the whole ‘I wish I didn’t have to grow up’ thing. I’m also geeky and nerdy like him, (total bookworm, loves Star Wars) and we would be great friends. I don’t get into trouble town much, but on Cooper’s side I am adventurous.
I think because I don’t relate to Cooper and after reading Marsh’s perspective and how different they are, it was really cool to read Cooper’s perspective in The Black.
