I had a request to start a blog where you could weigh in on thoughts about a movie based on The Merchant of Death and to discuss casting. This isn’t to say that a movie is imminent. It isn’t. But I’m working with some folks to develop one now, so you never know. (Just don’t hold your breath!)

Yeah, The Black is from Cooper’s perspective. It’s so awesome. All the mystery and questions in The Light are revealed in The Black. I think I’m going to go and re-read it. I’ve only read it once since it came out but I think I’ll re-read that and The Light to get ready for book 3.

Yeah, I’ve got a love/hate thing for Saint Dane. Love how clever and sneaky and plain awesome he is, but hate the misery and chaos he causes for so many.

Same here. Almost every disguise of Saint Dane had me by shock, but Whitney I just didn’t see coming, probably because anyone could be Saint Dane, so you don’t really know who could be him.

That was a good preview scene, like for a movie. The stadium underneath with the giant Flume sucking everyone down! That gave me excitement!
