I had a request to start a blog where you could weigh in on thoughts about a movie based on The Merchant of Death and to discuss casting. This isn’t to say that a movie is imminent. It isn’t. But I’m working with some folks to develop one now, so you never know. (Just don’t hold your breath!)

I think you should let your bff handle it first—maybe you could suggest that she should have a talk with him and find out why he’s bothering her. If it goes on too long or if she asks you for help, that’s when you can intervene and talk to him about why he’s bothering her and for him to stop. (but just don’t say it in a harsh way until he really gets annoying and refuses to listen or stop bothering)

I agree everyone has problems. For some reason i just seem to play the part of diplomat fir everyone litterally. Anyways batu warrior what i would do is say to them “you guys need to stop being jealous of me and my friends. I know thats why you are so snobby and meab when you are around us.” just saying that will make them so confused they will prob leave you alone. For some reason im good at this, my best guy friend tell me i never lose an argument. Thats only true because i find people easy to manipulate not that i do in a bad way, i just do it to help people or when ik im right and that the other person is stubborn.

I will probably do that. There aren’t as many girls like that anymore though, because one of the girls went crying to the director/teacher and then all the girls got lectured. The rest are all girls who decide they don’t need to come to practice, which annoys the crap out of me…. Well thanks for letting me vent all the time guys!!

Okay, well here it is.
When I was 4, me and Soldier of Halla went to the same pre- school. I hate to admit it but, she was kind of like my protection. My body guard. All the other kids hated me because I was a real smart-pants. No one said it to my face, but they all hated me. The only reason they didn’t say it to my face is because everybody was afraid that if they did, Soldier of Halla would get really P.O.’d and beat them up. Well, one day, she was absent and they all made fun of how smart I was and my extremely long hair. So I skipped school for a week, and I cut my waist long hair down up to the bottom of my ears. The following week, I went over to Soldier of Halla’s house and when she saw what I did to my hair, she got really mad, then she calmed down, next she asked me what happened, I told her what happened, then she got mad again. I still payed attention in class, but porpously failed my tests. I got worse grades and I eventually became a class clown whom everybody thought was just another dumb kid.
The only reason I felt like telling you this is that a girl in my class asked why I hid my smartness. I really needed to tell this to someone.

Seriously my life is the same wat im the smart one and i get picked on for it. But my response is so what they just are jealous so let them be that way. I get picked on for reading too fast finishung tests/classwork too fast and s billion other things. Also i take a gifted math program and there im the youngest so im considered the smart kid that tried out to early or the “8th grader” as in middle schoolers r to young for them. Its dumb but my attitude on everything is always the sameL-O-S-E-R i can only be who I are. Other words be yourself!!!!

@batu warrior: keep on working…everyone has an imagination and is creative. like EelongCatFolk said, you just have to find it in you. And…you’re smart, too—you only make yourself dumb when you think you are. (it’s all in your head) It’s not all about grades.

I know (somewhat) what that’s like. 4th grade I was picked on because I was smarter than most of the other kids. The MAP tests said I was on par with college juniors. And I liked to read, A LOT. Three 500+ page books on a slow week for me. A girl stood up for me, though, like Courtney stood up for Mark against Andy. We grew to be great friends. Then, she moved away. Luckily, though, I had grown enough of a rep (I was a good debater and could often get the class either out of some homework or get it reduced significantly) that people stopped teasing me.

I can’t say I know what it’s like, (About the being picked on stuff) Because I’m homeschooled, but people think I’m an anti-social freak. Even other homeschoolers say that. But I just don’t talk very much. I hate being homeschooled……
