I had a request to start a blog where you could weigh in on thoughts about a movie based on The Merchant of Death and to discuss casting. This isn’t to say that a movie is imminent. It isn’t. But I’m working with some folks to develop one now, so you never know. (Just don’t hold your breath!)

But I think it’s best if you just tell him your name…it’s pretty easy to remember and he doesn’t have to keep on guessing.
plus…you guys get to know each other better if he has a name to call you by instead of “the girl who I dance with for the Oliver play” or “the girl whose name I keep on guessing wrong”

I have almost told him my name like four times now, but he always gets distracted with something, and I think it would be kind of weird to say, “Oh yeah, my names Maggie bye the way.” lol.

Mr. MacHale is also a director, like Buggy Reality said, and I believe that he would make the movie as good as the books were.

Well, I usually am myself around him. It’s a really good thing him and all his friends are complete weirdos too π I feel like he always wants to talk to me, but he doesn’t know what to say…. Hola mi amigas y mi amigos! I just got back from the Mc Wayne Center in Birmingham, Alabama. It was a lot of fun. I did a thing called the HICYCLE. It’s where you get on a bike on a rope and pedal back and forth. But it was really uncomfortable because all the girls wear skirts for their uniforms. Well the way the thing is designed, the seat belt pulled up my skirt so it looked like I was wearing pants, but all the boys were there. So, talk about uncomfortable! I slept on the way back.

@Courtney: I don’t really know what you mean b/c the guys I know don’t really do that—it depends on the question.
Either they don’t want to hear it and ignore it or they answer with their own opinions.
But in your case, maybe they want to prove that they’re right or they don’t like the questions in some way and want to fight back with their own opinions b/c you don’t agree with them and they don’t agree with you. Or they could be in a bad mood when you asked them the question.
Anyways, hope you guys figure it out and come to an agreement π

suggestion: I think that you should find out why…try to be more open and understanding to them if you guys are fighting.
I mean, you could say “I get what you’re saying…” or “I respect your opinion, but I don’t really understand why you think that way.” and then ask for an explanation in a kind way. Don’t get too angry and try to solve it calmly…maybe then you’ll figure it out.

if they say “I’m not telling you” that means that they don’t feel like answering that question and don’t want to tell you what they think, even if it isn’t a personal question.
