I had a request to start a blog where you could weigh in on thoughts about a movie based on The Merchant of Death and to discuss casting. This isn’t to say that a movie is imminent. It isn’t. But I’m working with some folks to develop one now, so you never know. (Just don’t hold your breath!)

The giant one is a Legolas action figure from The Lord of the Rings.
I don’t think they make them any more, and they sell for about thirty dollars a piece on Ebay. I got one of the last ones, and I just recently sold it to my brother (after making the movie) in trade for an antique woodworking set.

I just found out what really scares me. Anything that has to do woth getting killed: its not that im afraid kf death im more afraid of watching someone get killed. Anyways i figured out this while watching glee to things happened that made start almost hyperventilating and repeating no no no…. I litterally covered my ears and almost started crying

You mean like what they did with How To Train Your Dragon, using the same tune but altering it slightly, by using different instruments, different tempos, and using the same notes in different octaves, to fit with the different emotions of the movie? I think that’s a great idea. I was actually a fan of that way of tune making. Hey, if you can come up with a tune we could start with and send it to me, I’ll try to make something and see what you all think.

I’ve been reading this book series for years (in a relative, non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint) and I have the complete collection in the library of my TARDIS. I thought I’d just pop back to the 21st century and see if I couldn’t rewrite time by putting in my two cents. You see, in the future, there never was a Pendragon movie made. But as a fellow traveler through time and space, I have to say I’d love to see Bobby Pendragon on the big screen. It would make my life. It really would. This series is better than any others out there, even Harry Potter fails in comparison. And if Harry Potter could have eight movies, then Pendragon could probably make it to ten! I really hope a movie will be made. And I hope McHale reads this and considers that, even though in the future I’ve been to there is no movie, time can always be rewritten.

Its really not impossible with CG technology these days its all just matter of making look real and have substance. Like with the air globes they would need to make it look like its shifting into the heads shape or with the terrritories they would need to research and make the objects and machines from each one look real and funcionable.

My older brother has a bunch of swords and all in his room. We used to go to this really cool store in the mall and look at all the swords and kunai.

They could probably do it. They did all that stuff in Harry Potter. I think the hardest part for the Pendragon movie would probably be flumes, or the whole territory of Eelong. They would have to blend in Bobby with the cats and make it look real.

I agree with Batu Warrior, the first kiss between Bobby and Courtney must be included otherwise that whole part of the movie, including when Press comes to take Bobby to Denduron, would be ruined.

Ir has to be a kiss. Its what makes te whole bobby and courtney relationship through out rhe books mean something. Without the kiss then mark wouldnt have had to ask courtney to see if t was real and then courtney would be gone. Also it will be so funny to see press intereupt them!!

Yeah, that’s what I thought. I liked it in a way, but I guess I wish it would have been different, but then again I can’t think of a better way for it to end. I get the whole thing about it just being over, it’s like your reading about someones life, and you get to know the people in it, and then all of a sudden it’s like they’re cut off…. I was so sad….
