I had a request to start a blog where you could weigh in on thoughts about a movie based on The Merchant of Death and to discuss casting. This isn’t to say that a movie is imminent. It isn’t. But I’m working with some folks to develop one now, so you never know. (Just don’t hold your breath!)

I would like to see a movie done, only by a director capable of portraying the graphics,and all the scenery that would be seen in the books as if it were real. James Cameron comes to mind. Also just as a Protagonist makes a movie, the antagonist does as well. William Fitchner would be a great Saint.Dane. For uncle press an actor like Matt Damon or Ben Affleck who is young,yet aged still.For Mark,Courtney and of course,Bobby himself it is hard because there are not too many good talented young actors and actresses that would be able to do the part.

Of course, why would you run in front of a train is a good question, but I think it’s kind of cool you actually did that…. and didn’t like wet your pants or die….. I get in front of my acting class to read my homework, and I feel like I’m about to like die. I HATE talking in front of people, which is funny because I danced in the nutcracker in front of a couple thousand people without being nervous at all, but I can’t talk in front of an acting class…. Sorry, that didn’t have anything to do with what you said did it? 🙂

@Batu Warrior: I guess you’re nervous when you talk because you don’t really get caught up in it like dancing. Most of the time, if it’s something you love doing, it’s exciting and ends up being fun even though you might get nervous in the beginning.
tip for the next time you have to talk in front of class:
take deep breaths and try to stay calm. think of what makes you feel relaxed and try not to let the nerves get to you. that’s what helped me.
