I had a request to start a blog where you could weigh in on thoughts about a movie based on The Merchant of Death and to discuss casting. This isn’t to say that a movie is imminent. It isn’t. But I’m working with some folks to develop one now, so you never know. (Just don’t hold your breath!)

Yes I have! its not bitter but not spicy either it tastes like grass! Grass taste like un-cooked peas and those are sweetish-spicy abit of both I cant name it it does add spice to the food its just not spicy.

I have tasted dandelion, (the root at least) and it was so bitter it messed up my whole pot of earthworm soup. The worms were fine, though…

OMG… I have read almost all of the books(waiting to buy the last), but I love them and you should ask for opinions on castings, or what the readers picture of the characters from the book. Although, there shouldn’t be any mix up with the casting like the “Twilight” series. I love the movies and all, but I think that Jacob was hotter then Edward(not trying to start anything). This would lead up to saying that both Bobby, and Mark should be good looking, but Bobby more so. But then Spader should be all muscle bot not overly, Courtney should look like one of the popular girls you’d see in school, and Loor should be muscular but pretty too. That’s just my opinion. But you should definitely ask the readers what they think so then there won’t be such a bad disagreement like the “Twilight” series. But I also agree from Robert Pendragon that the actors shouldn’t be famous. They should be new. Someone that no one has seen before that makes a lot of the marks. My last thought is that you should make the movies exactly like the books, or as close as you can because I hate when I read a book, and then the movie tanks(sucks). Anyways, I hope you think about the casting and the opinions of the readers(soon to be viewers), so more people would want to read the books, and watch the movies. I know I want a movie to be made, an other people do too because the books are amazing.

I agree cuz courtney should be relatable, mark should be relatable to nerds (me) and bobby should be what a real jock is like. Thats why we need open auditions. I agree that there should be open auditions (I’d like to audition at least for Mark XD), and that Mark should relate to nerds in looks, but I think Bobby shouldn’t look like the stereotypical jock, he should be like the cool yet still friendly football player hero guy that you sometimes see in the movies; and I agree that Courtney should look like one of the popular girls since that’s how she’s basically described by Bobby in his first journal, and by Mark.

I think it’s time that we should see some new actors and actresses. Someone who can deliver a great performance and who isn’t someone that we all already know. Sure, I think that famous actors (like Josh Hutcherson) would do a great job too. Though it would be cool—in my opinion—if there’s a mix of well-known and new talent.
But in the end, it’s all up to the directors, so we hope that they have our best interests in mind and will make the movies as awesome as the books 🙂
(Sorry that was long…I wrote an English essay in class today so it seems that I’m typing out essays instead of comments. It’s like when you’ve been in England and their British accent sort of rubs off on you—just an example.)

I would probably audition as Aja since I can act witty and smart, except I wouldn’t look good in blonde. Not Loor, because I’m not African-American. And not Courtney, because I can’t act that outgoing even if I can act as kick-butt as she is.
