I had a request to start a blog where you could weigh in on thoughts about a movie based on The Merchant of Death and to discuss casting. This isn’t to say that a movie is imminent. It isn’t. But I’m working with some folks to develop one now, so you never know. (Just don’t hold your breath!)
So, here’s the blog. Have fun.

GOCLORAL says:
@ Dan
Please. No poems. We have been there before. Look at comments from a while ago.
Robert Pendragon says:
I agree.
im out of here book 7 got boring says:
I HATE PENDRAGON NOW BUUUTTTT III LLLOOOOVVVEEEE MAXIMUM RIDE!!!!
I THINK IT WAS SOMETHING LIKE ZADDA COURTENY? says:
NNNNOOOOOO MMMMOOOORRREEEE!!!!!!!
Dan says:
I like them both, Pendragon has a better plot, but Maximum Ride is arguably better at comedy and dialogue.
Dan says:
There was a kid named Bill
He thought he was sly,
He watched Dr. Phil but so did I!
Better watch out, Sly sly Bill,
I know how to fight and I know how to kill!
Run for your life, sly Sly Bill,
Run down the street and run up a hill.
A tornado is comin’
Sly sly Bill
I got sucked right up like a big wind mill.
But I threw an axe right out off the vortex
It comes out and whacks sly Bill’s cerebral cortex!
Ded ded ded,
Sly sly Bill.
An axe in your hed
Sly sly Bill.
Did ya know I could throw,
Did ya know I could Kill?
Well ya weren’t that sly
Sly sly Bill!

@Dan
Wow, that’s all I can say. That and “very impressive.” But they’re right, no more rhymes >–< Idiot. That's why you DON'T text while driving. I think I'm going to stay away from roads as much as possible, I seem to have terrible luck near them.
Anyways, getting back on topic, I agree with SilverMisty that there should be a mix of old and new talent in the cast. I personally think that, if I were a new actor and got a part in the movie along with other more famous actor, it would be cool to be able to work with them and get some advice and so on from them.
Robert Pendragon says:
@im out of here book 7 got boring
Then why are you here?
GOCLORAL says:
@ I’m out of here book 7 got boring
Yeah, why are you here? If you’re gonna bag on Pendragon, then just shut up! And BTW. Maximum Ride, just turn out to be some sort of lame love story! BORING!!! Pendragon is where the action is!
BuggyReality says:
Y’all appear to have a troll problem…
SilverMisty says:
First of all, please don’t post comments that are negative towards any books. Everyone has their own opinions. So if you don’t like a book, then please keep your thoughts to yourself because no one else really wants to see them.
Actually, (in my opinion) I think that both Pendragon and Maximum Ride are great books with adventurous plots that capture the readers’ attention. (That’s why they’re so famous 😛 )
@Eelong Catfolk: Thanks for backing up my opinion—I agree with your comments 100% 🙂
EelongCatfolk says:
>—< Idiot. That's why you don't text while driving…."
Anyways, I hope everyone's day is going better than mine XD I'm tired as the dead, and I had to ride my bike to school, in the rain, because I overslept. lolz
EelongCatfolk says:
What in the world?!? IT DID IT AGAIN!!! DX
Dan says:
Yes I think the last few Maximum Ride books turned out to be more of a comedy than a plot driven adventure, but the first three were really good.
In Hunger Games it was kind of weird cause the end of the first one started on a nose dive to lameness, but by the beginning of the second one, it got really good and stayed that way…
And in Pendragon, the very beginning of the very first book was the lamest part in the whole series. Like I have heard a few other people say, I was about to put the book down until Press came in…
Dan says:
@ E.C.
Ya don’t need a bike when you’re a hard core man in a van with a ceiling fan.
Watch out for that electric fence
sly sly Bill
It makes me wince, Sly sly Bill!
Me says:
I’m confused. Isn’t this forum supposed to be about the MOVIE? Lol. Anyway, i think that Bobby, at least, should be a new actor, not some already-famous-hollywood-star. I would love to see some new talent on the big screen!
Robert Pendragon says:
@Me
Too late. I already said that.
Robert Pendragon says:
My spring break starts today! 😀
Courtney Chetwynde says:
@me
ya it is supposed to but after 6,000 comments and the same people always on here we go off topic a lot….
GOCLORAL says:
@ Me
And Courtney means A LOT!!! There was even a whole poem age. Man, that was like, 1,000 comments. I suck at writing poems.
Also, I apoligize for all negative comments about books from me.
GOCLORAL says:
And it is actually 6,709 comments.
ASUfan22 says:
ross lynch or leo howard could be bobby because they are both around 14
Robert Pendragon says:
How I am the great lord Zeon vi Britannia fear my power!
Flume of Doom says:
They may think about using someone older to act for Pendragon, maybe 16 or 17 instead of 14, just because of greater acting ability, and most of the original Pen fans are a bit older now.
I don’t know, just an Idea.
A couple of The Hunger Games actors looked older than than the book said.
EelongCatfolk says:
Okay, am I the only one here who hasn’t seen The Hunger Games (that wants to, that is)? I’ve heard it was a bit of a disappointment when compared to the book, and a bit of a disappointment in general. Is that true? And is it just the first book that’s in the movie or did they put all three books in there?
@Me
Yes, I know, it’s not the right topic XD But hey, it’s still about a movie, right? lolz
Courtney Chetwynde says:
The hunger games was amazing…… I wouldnt say it was a dissapoiment at all. I loved it so much even though it was differen than the book.
Flume of Doom says:
I think it was somewhat a disappointment… the music and photography could have been a lot better, ad well as how some of the scenes were portrayed… But it was relatively close to the book, dialogue identical in many places, and they had some decent actors.
GOCLORAL says:
I’m waiting to see the Hungr Games. I might go this weekend. But I’m goin to the beach, so I’ll probably see it there.
Bobby Pindragon says:
I’m tired of everyone talking about the hunger games. Compared to pendragon it’s nothing. So why they make hunger games a movie and not pendragon is beyond my knowledge. Pendragon is soooooooo much better than twilight, hunger games, and even Harry potter. Every day I hope to see something that says pendragon is going to be a movie. By making it a movie so many people would not only watch the movie but also buy the book. And if something like hunger games can become so popular and sell a lot of books then a master piece like pendragon would become so popular that people would forget the hunger games and hopefully realize all the time they’ve wasted obsessing over their stupid little books. So a pendragon movie would be everyones dream eventhough not everyone knows it yet.
Robert Pendragon says:
@Bobby Pindragon
Who do you think you are?! I am not you!
Robert Pendragon says:
I have read one of those books they are not bad. I have read all the Harry Potter books as well. They are not inferior just different.
Robert Pendragon says:
Wait…The blood is out now!!!
Bobby Pindragon says:
Ok I might have gone overboard. I understand that they are all different books and people have different views on them. I shouldn’t have said it would be every ones dream if they made a movie. I do know this. After the hunger games came out as a movie a lot of people who never heard of it started reading the books. So by making pendragon a movie a whole lot of people would read the books. Also since there are more books in the series they would make more money. So I’m sorry if I got you angry or upset about my comment earlier. There all good books but pendragon seems like a perfect movie book.

You’re traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind; a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That’s the signpost up ahead – your next stop, the Twilight Zone!
Robert Pendragon says:
or You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension – a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You’re moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You’ve just crossed over into the Twilight Zone!

GOCLORAL says:
So much randomness in such a short time. 😀 Well, I’m going on a trip and my mom said that if I clean put the trunk of the car, she’ll take m to get the Blood. So excited. But my friend already read it on her nook.
Tribbun and Ribbon says:
Oh my gosh! soo excited about the blood! my aunt works at a bookstore so I always get free books. shes getting me a copy of the the blood but i don’t get it until thursday. 🙁
GOCLORAL says:
Never mind. My mom is being mean, so I’m not getting my book. Which sucks because I’m going in a six hour car ride, and I’ve read all the good books at my house and just about everywhere else.
