I had a request to start a blog where you could weigh in on thoughts about a movie based on The Merchant of Death and to discuss casting. This isn’t to say that a movie is imminent. It isn’t. But I’m working with some folks to develop one now, so you never know. (Just don’t hold your breath!)

Clem walks into a store, where Grapejuice is panting.
Clem: Why in the name do you look so tired? I don’t look that tired and I had to walk all the way across the parking lot ’cause there was a big red ‘No Clem!’ sign in front of all the handicapped spots….not to mention land mines and pipe bombs and mousetraps!
Grapejuice looks at Clem with fright.
Grapejuice: H-h-how did You get here?!
Clem: I bribed Val to trip the land mines in front of the door, so they wouldn’t blow up when I got there.
How did you get here?
Did you tell some kid you’d give them a free cigar if they could get through the door without getting blown up?
Grapejuice: Ummm…. No… Why would I do that? You know you’d eat me if we ran out of cigars!
Clem: I’d eat you anyway. Now give me some cigars. The ones with the 99% off sign.
Grapejuice: But! None of them have a 99% off sign! That would be a ripoff…on the store!
A bomb goes off.
Explosion, followed by Pain Sound
Clem: The beep was that! Oh.
Clem points at Grapejuice.
Clem: Hey look, it’s Quack… You’d better hide!
Grapejuice covers his eyes with his wings and does the Wilhelm Scream and runs off the stage. Quack walks in.
Quack: How in the name did you get in here? It’s Modern Warfare III out there!
Clem: Have you seen Val lately?
Quack: Pieces of him…
Clem: Well there you have it. How did you get in here?
Quack: First I called the bomb squad and told them that there were land mines all over the place.
Clem: Well what did they do?
Quack: They told me that April fool’s day was two months ago.
Clem: What did you do then?
Quack: I said my calendar must be two months slow.
Clem: I mean what did you use to get past the bombs? So far our supply of Vals has been used up….And I don’t think Puffy would be dumb enough to fall for that.
Quack: Last week he fell for the ‘Pete and Repeat were setting on a boat’ one. For six full minutes…I’ll have to submit that to the Guinness Book of World Records!
Clem: So maybe he was pretty dumb after all, but whenever he gets blown up he goes (Wilhelm Scream), and I haven’t heard one of those lately.
Quack: That’s because I used Phil, and when he gets blown up he goes (Pain Sound).
Clem: That explains it.
Quack: I wonder who put all those bombs there anyway.
Clem: Who do you think put them there, Al Quada?! It was obviously another one of the Grapejuice Clan’s schemes to stop me from patronizing this store.
Quack: I don’t see Grapejuice anywhere… Let’s get some… (glances at the No Shoplifting sign) shoplifting in, while we have the chance!
Clem: You really want to take the risk of getting put in prison again? I have a better Idea.
Quack: How would you have a better idea than shoplifting?
Clem: Do you even know what
shoplifting is?
Quack: I may… I may not… What’s it to you?!
Clem: Ducks these days…
Quack: Look, all I know is that, generally, when you see a sign that tells you not to do something, it’s usually cause it’s real fun. Q.E.D, remember the No Dunking sign at the swimming pool?
Clem: OH YEAH… You mean the time you accidentally caused a mass extinction on the local Grapejuice chicks when you were playing dunk? What are you getting at? You were in prison for five whole days!
Quack: Never mind that. More like, well, you remember the ‘No Pushing’ sign at the Grand Canyon?
Clem: You mean the time we were having the argument about whether an old woman in a wheelchair or a little kid holding a balloon had the higher terminal velocity?
Quack: You still remember it?
Clem: I remember my prison wall was covered in scratch marks from my two year sentence!

Center stage, the killer whale pops up.
Whale:Welcome to the extra-slimy Whale stock report. The Dead Krill company went up two points.
The Plastic Platypus company went down three points. The-
The whale gets pulled down behind the stage. Confetti explodes out from below. Then the whale gets thrown out towards the camera. Wilhelm Scream!
Val struggles to slowly push Clem up onto the stage. He then climbs up panting.
Val:Welcome to Clem’s Fishing, where it’s either Clem eating the fish, or the fish eating her.
Clem:There isn’t a fish on this block that could scare me!
Val does an insinuating chuckle…
Clem:Hey, where’s our fishing gear?
Grapejuice enters, with a sign taped to himself that says BAIT.
Grapejuice:I like fishing!
Clem:What about the pole?
Grapejuice: Why use a pole when you could use this?
He reaches over the edge and pulls out a bust of Beethoven.
Laughs in a can.
Clem. What good would that do us?
Grapejuice. Watch this!
Beethoven: O no!
A fish jumps across the stage and eats him.
Val: Holey Mackeral!
Clem. Actually that was a pirahna.
Grapejuice. I like pirahnas!
Scene II.
A sign pops up, saying:
Somewhere where pirahnas are common…
Clem. Hey look! A bridge.
A bridge pops up.
Clem. And it’s over a really big river!
Toilet flush.
Clem again: Hey! I said a RIVER!
Sound of rushing water.
Val again: I know what we should do; lets cross the bridge!
A sign pops up and says:
By the way, pirahnas are common here.
Clem even more: Something tells me that pirahnas might be common here.
Val even more too: Funny, Because I was just having the same feeling. Hey Grapejuice, cross the bridge.
Grapejuice jogs happily across, off the stage.
Toilet flush…
Wilhelm Scream, distant.

I hate Demi Lovato. I feel kind of bad for Justin Bieber because he worked so hard to become famous and all his fans are some children. Plus he has his own nail polish line and that can never help you on the manliness scale.

I really hope there is a movie for the Pendragon series, Personally I would much prefer seeing a Pendragon movie rather then ANY of the Harry Potter or Lord of The Rings movies, to me this book series blows both of those away. personally I think even 1 Pendragon movie COULD be a bigger hit then any of those movies if more people knew about this series, I hate reading but this is the ONLY series I have found that I actually like. I am most definitely in favor of the idea of a Pendragon Movie, I hope this works out, I know he said not to hold your breath but I know I am holding mine. I WANT THIS TO HAPPEN! lol

I know how you feel. I have a friend like that. She’s REALLY annoying. I can’t talk about Pendragon around her without her saying “Pendragon is awful. Why do you like it?” So my reply is always something like “Why do you like the Hunger Games? I’ve never read a book worse then that sh**.” That gets her mad. (Sorry for the language.
