I had a request to start a blog where you could weigh in on thoughts about a movie based on The Merchant of Death and to discuss casting. This isn’t to say that a movie is imminent. It isn’t. But I’m working with some folks to develop one now, so you never know. (Just don’t hold your breath!)

I just finished the final book in the series. Did anyone else feel sad when Saint Dane died? I kind of thought he was the best character in the book. He was the most fun… probably because he was CRAZY.

Okay, no offence but here’s what I think. Ross Lynch is on Disney Channel, so that wouldn’t work. The second and third guys would be okay. Jake T. Austin and Leo Howard are on Disney XD. Madelline Carroll seems good. Selena Gomez and Olivia Holt are on Disney XD also. For Uncle Press and Saint Dane and Osa the choices are good. Zendaya Colman is on Disney Channel and I completely hate her show. Too over exposed for Alder. REALLY good for Spader. The girl for Wu Yenza, that isn’t her real hair, but would be good. I like Morgan Freeman as Gunny. Neither for Dodger. Brigit Mendler is on Disney Channel. I think, take away all the over exposed people and people on Disney Channel and replace them with other people, it would be good.

Also if you want the actors to be the same age as the characters in the books and there be movies of the other books they would have to age with the movies and if that happens there will be errors like them being a year or 3 off the real age in the end.

Yeah that would happen. Even if they came out with a new movie every year for the books they would be a lot older than the actual characters. If they made movies i think it would be like Harry Potter where the movies become the actors everyday life sort of. But it would most likely be just as popular as Harry Potter also.
