I had a request to start a blog where you could weigh in on thoughts about a movie based on The Merchant of Death and to discuss casting. This isn’t to say that a movie is imminent. It isn’t. But I’m working with some folks to develop one now, so you never know. (Just don’t hold your breath!)

I agree though. I have no doubt Pendragon could do just as well and/or better than Harry Potter.

Bobby: Aaron Johnson. (But with straight, shaggy, not curly hair)
Courtney: Annasophia Robb. (If she dyed her hair brown)
Uncle Press: Nicolas Cage. (With his hair longer, like in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.)

so i think i could play spader well due to the fact that i love the water, and my attitude is like his. I do have a few things to work on though before that get to the 2nd movie such as longer hair and my body structure. I would have to dye my hair black but if i can get it kinda longer like his is suppose to be i think i will be good. and my body structure due to the fact that he seems to be in shape.

yea so i would guess that a year after the first movie comes out they would do lost city of faar so i have at least a year to get in character. I will re-read the books this weekend and concentrate on spader. now if i dont get him it will suck. 🙁 lol would be nice if this is a fan audition though

yea but there are probably hundreds, if not thousands of people who think they have a good shot at getting the role I want and same with yours to but we can’t be all upset if we don’t get the role. remember, this is the way it was meant to be. 🙂

I think the books would definately have a sales spike if a movie came out then more interest would get into the series. personally this tops harry potter in my opinion. i would definately take my family to see this movie

Okay so i`m gone for about a week with almost 400 comments and now there`s over 600! 😉
Well I think I have a good shot at Courtney `cause I`m athletic,funny and all the other things Courtney is. I`m freakin awsome at volleyball, I love softball,but I don`t play soccer anymore, but I was pretty good. Then again, I stopped before I could learn how to bounce it of my knee but i can learn and get my older brother to help me.
Even though I`m not 14 yet, it will probobly take about a year or so to write the script, and cast auditions. Then another year or two to get it on the big screen so i should be 14 by then.

If there`s no movie I say all of us fans go march down to where they were discussing plans for a movie and start a whole big riot with signs and everything…Wouldn`t that be fun!! <3

I honestly believe that I would be great for the part of either Bobby, or Mark. The only thing is, I’m 16. A little too old. It sucks. But I’m a pretty good actor, I just wish that I was a little younger for it. XD
And by the time that they’d start filming, if they DO decide to make a movie/tv series off of Pendragon, I’d be 17, or maybe even 18. Ouch.
Buuut, I could try to think of some other parts that I could go for. If anything, I would even be an extra. The Pendragon series is my favorite series of all time, and it would be the best thing ever for me to be in the movie, even as an extra. I would love that. But, with that said, there is such a small chance of that happening, that it’s almost not worth my time.
If he does fan auditions though, to send in a video of us acting, I think I might have a shot if I find the right character to be. *Shrugs* Who knows. It would just be kind of a dream to be able to act in a movie, especially Pendragon. I make videos on Youtube, so I would have the video part down. I’d just need to find the right character.

Lol I just recorded my self reading courtneys lines for the part when they first c hat bobbys house is missing. I sound so mean. It was so not like me but i kinda like it. No one has ever said i am cruel mean or evil bu i totally sounded like that in the recording. I guess i can act mean if i want to so yay i can pull off courtney part. Also i learned i cry on cue. Yeah, Quillan Games for sure! That’s by far my favorite book. As for who I’d like to be, I wouldn’t mind being Nevva. I think she’d be interesting. Or being a Challenger, a trustee…or Veego. That way I could tell LaBerge to keep quiet when he gets annoying. That’d be funny 🙂
Really, I’d just love to be in Quillan Games. It wouldn’t matter to me so much who I’d be, just as long as I’m in. But the two I’d most like to be would be Veego or Nevva.
