I had a request to start a blog where you could weigh in on thoughts about a movie based on The Merchant of Death and to discuss casting. This isn’t to say that a movie is imminent. It isn’t. But I’m working with some folks to develop one now, so you never know. (Just don’t hold your breath!)

I can cry on command,I`m great at volleyball and softball,I`m only gonna have trouble on soccer `cause I quit when I was like 8 and haven`t played sence.Plus I look and act the part. I can check out the first book again and learn the lines.
If I don`t get the part I wanna be Loor. I have a nice tan and I`ve been learning how to fight with a stave sence I read the books.
Okay completly of subject but is anyone else doing this on anything other than a computer `cause I`m using my dsi and it will only download pic.`s on facebook but i don`t have one so if anyone knows how to download pic.`s please tell me.

Ok so I’m Going to camp for the week today so I won’t be on unless somehow there is wifi which I doubt. So I wonder how many comments there will be. Also I’m justgoing to say again I’m definitely going to audition for Courtney in the first book the. Aja in the 4th if I get he chance. So excited for camp but I’ll miss checking the site 20 times a day.

Wow making 10 films will take at least the same number of years and Bobby only ages about 4-5 years in the books. So, I geuss they’ll have to find actors that are a little younger than the characters or at least look it.

so one think i noticed when re-reading the books is that when press and bobby are going to the subway bobby says hey ho lets go. reminded me of hobby ho lets go. 🙂

I would love to see the movie but i also would hope it wont be a disappointment. The Pendragon series is my favorite so i would be very picky and would hate to see them mess it up. Maybe since you have done directing before you should try to make them, DJ. i think it would be the only way for the movies to put the full effect of Bobbies adventure and bring it to life. Hope you think about it and i will be waiting to see it!! 🙂

DJ do NOT let pendragon go down the same road as eragon and completely sell out the movie just to make it PG so little kids can see it. Pendragon is a gritty and violent series. Make the movies refelct it

Yeah, PG-13 would most likely be the best option. A guy jumping to his death in front of a speeding train, cannibal quigs, Osa shot in the chest with arrows and other violent happenings…I don’t think PG would cut it.

ok. i wont fit the part for any of the characters, but promis you wont mess it up like the percy jackson movie was. i was dissapointed when i saw it. buy for the role of bobby, i think it should be jeremy shada. he is the voice of finn off of adventure time.

i just got Raven Rise. They didn’t have Soldiers of Halla at Barnes and Noble. This movie thing is killing me. It’s been three weeks! I want to hear something.

Yeah, my guess is he’s pretty busy trying to put together a movie and all. It probably takes a while to get something like this put together, especially when it’s something as big as Pendragon.

Yeah, it’s tough being patient, I know. Hopefully Raven Rise will keep you busy for a while, and then Soldiers of Halla. That’s why I’m re-reading the books right now…to help keep my mind off the movie.

Don’t wait if you don’t want to. When I first read Raven Rise, I just couldn’t put it down. I was just glued to it and didn’t want to walk away till I was done reading.
I won’t spoil anything, but I will say the ending is surprising 🙂

That reminds me! i was on YouTube and i found these cool movie trailers for books 1-5. the girl just cut out bits and pieces of real movies and put music in the background, but they’re actually pretty cool. Much better than the other ones i found. Her screen name is SelenaEde. you should check it out.

I saw those trailers! They’re awesome. I remember watching them and thinking, “These are really good.” It’s hard to make Pendragon trailers when there’s no real footage yet, but I gotta say…her’s were better than most I’ve seen. I especially loved the Never War one!

I really like them all. I saw the one for Black Water first. I have to say that my favorite is probably the one for the Reality Bug. Her fake trailers are much better than the other ones. I saw this other one that had Voldemort in it! I was thinking “what the heck! that’s Harry Potter!”

Yeah, I remember watching one with Voldemort. I really like her trailers because they remind a lot of Pendragon, where other trailers just didn’t do that, especially since it made me think about Harry Potter, Narnia or whatever other clips they used.
But her clips are great. They’ve got that Pendragon feel to them. Loved the Lost City of Faar trailer.

They’re all pretty epic. I wonder why DJ hasn’ posted anything new. I guess he’s just wrapped up in movie stuff. As much as i hate waiting like this, it’s probably a good sign that we haven’t heard anything for so long.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. If a movie didn’t sound like it was going to be made, he’d probably have posted something, but if everything’s going good and things are moving forward…then no posts could mean good news! Hopefully he’s busy getting things ready and whatnot.
That’s what I’m hoping anyway! I’m just really hoping for this movie to get made 🙂
