Pendragon Movie Blog

I had a request to start a blog where you could weigh in on thoughts about a movie based on The Merchant of Death and to discuss casting. This isn’t to say that a movie is imminent. It isn’t. But I’m working with some folks to develop one now, so you never know. (Just don’t hold your breath!)

So, here’s the blog. Have fun.

  4. Courtney chetwynde says:

Same cause I started to write a book when I was younger called from here on but I really need to like add more detail to it. Can we pls get backnon pendragon I really need to talk about it cause I feel ready to explode with excitement

  5. Challenger Black says:

Yeah, I both love and hate Saint Dane. I don’t just love him, but I also don’t just hate him. Little of both 🙂

  6. BuggyReality says:

Wow we posted 50 comments in about under an hour. If there are a bunch of us on at once then we really make the number of comments skyrocket.

  7. Challenger Black says:

Yeah, imagine how many comments there would be with numerous people. It’d probably end up being somewhere around a hundred comments in under an hour.

  8. Courtney chetwynde says:

    Ikr
    T
I absolutely hat st Dane. I would never betray the travelers ever cause I am the lead travelers acolyte

  9. MissBookworm says:

Yeah, I wonder how high it will it go before we hear anything. I wonder if it’s actually possible to explode from antisipation…

  10. Challenger Black says:

Yeah, I know for a fact that I’d never betray the Travelers. Imagine how angry we’d make Press if any one of us joined the dark side. He wouldn’t be too pleased.

  11. Courtney chetwynde says:

If it is I will. I’ve been doing so much practicing for Courtney. Will some one pls FaceTime with me so I can practice pls!!!!!!!!!!

  12. Challenger Black says:

I think it’s possible. I feel like I’m close to exploding with anticipation, and that’s without hearing news, so I can’t imagine what’ll be going through my head if we get the good news.

It’s gonna be one crazy day…that’s for sure 🙂

  13. MissBookworm says:

I also wonder if I’ll end up chew threwing through my pillow before the movie comes out.
Or when I’m reading book 10
    Or the rest of nine

  14. BuggyReality says:

Agreed Courtney. I really can’t believe that Nevva betrayed the travelers. If it weren’t for her the travelers would have won on Quillan.

  15. Aquaneer ryder says:

Agreed we are just so excited about the pendragon movie aren’t we? Haha
I love when saint Dane give Bobby a surprise entrance and says
    “welcome to ____ pendragon”
Especially in quillan when he did a little salute 🙂

I hope this blog encourages the pendragon movie.
I’m going to support it all the way 🙂

  16. MissBookworm says:

    sorry, chewing through

  17. BuggyReality says:

You’re lucky MissBookworm that you still have some Pendragon awesomeness left to occupy you.

  18. Courtney chetwynde says:

Ok who is going to FaceTime with me someone pls do it I need feedback be4 I explode

  19. Challenger Black says:

I know. I’ve re-read Quillan Games so many times, and every time I get to the part where Mr. Pop’s destroyed and we learn she’s betrayed them…I still get so upset. Quillan most likely could have been saved, as long as Mr. Pop’s location wasn’t revealed.

Why Nevva? Why did you go and do that!?

  20. BuggyReality says:

The end of book 7 was so sad. All of Quillan’s creativity, the one thing that could make it comparable to Earth, just got destroyed.

  21. Challenger Black says:

Yeah, such an emotional ending. If Quillan Games ever gets made, I’ll for sure be crying at that part. To have an entire history destroyed in flames…man, that’s powerful.

  22. Courtney chetwynde says:

I’m sorry to say this but quillian was my least favorite book. It was too slow, I was more interested in the second earth stuff then Bobby. Maybe I was just tired of bein on a plane when I was reading it I’m not sure. I just didn’t enjoy it very much compared to any of the other books

  23. BuggyReality says:

But there was so much action in it from the games to dados to robotic quigs (shudders).

  24. Challenger Black says:

Quillan Games is my favorite, for a lot of reasons. I just love how intense the book is, I love the games, the robots, Blok, LaBerge, Courtney and Mark’s story…I love it all 🙂

  25. Aquaneer ryder says:

Aaaaaah I wish someone could jus spill out everything that happens haha but I still have 3 books to go!!
I bet when I buy the last one I would be holding the covers and whisperin to myself “this is it!!!!!”

    Is the last book long?

  26. Challenger Black says:

Yeah, the last book is the longest. It’s close to 600 pages. I think it’s around 595, something like that.

  27. BuggyReality says:

So, what are all of your favorite quigs? Mine are probably the robot spiders. I found it a bit unnerving to have quigs that weren’t…um…uh..alive.

  28. Courtney chetwynde says:

Ya I loved it when I re read it. It was intens but the merchant of death and veelox were definitely my fav books hands down

  29. Challenger Black says:

Yeah, I remember reading Reality Bug for the first time, and of all the Pen books, it was the only one I read in one sitting. I think it was because I was so amazed by Lifelight, and I just couldn’t stop reading.

  30. Courtney chetwynde says:

Mine were the sharks because they would scare me to death cause I hate sharks

  31. MissBookworm says:

Well, nine is five hundrend fourty something pages, and so far the books have just been getting bigger so far, (with the exception of the Never War) so it’ll proabably be considerabley sized.

  32. BuggyReality says:

The longest and the most amazing. I actually cried at the end of book 10. Then I reread the ending and cried again. I was so happy yet sad about the ending, though it left me at peace with the ending of the greatest book series ever.

  33. Challenger Black says:

Yeah, sharks would scare me for sure. Same with the spiders, I can’t stand ’em.

That reminds me in Quillan Games when Bobby says he wasn’t scared of spiders, then he sees the quigs, and says, “I was officially scared of spiders.”

    Gotta love Bobby 🙂

  34. Courtney chetwynde says:

O I read books one and two in 2 days each and books 3-7 in one day each and then 8-10 in prob 2 days each

  35. Aquaneer ryder says:

    @buggyreality
My favorite quig would have to be the sharks
I think they were the less vicious ones beside the dogs on second earth
And I like sharks and cloral haha

  36. MissBookworm says:

I like the bear-quigs from Denduron becuase they’re just so unusual. It’s like a bear and a boar and a shark all mixed together with a little touch of cannibalism.

  37. BuggyReality says:

Yep robotic quig spiders could do that to a guy.

  38. MissBookworm says:

And the fact that one explodes
    That helps too.

  39. MissBookworm says:

man, we’re all typing at the same time.

  40. Challenger Black says:

I like the quig bees too. I can’t imagine how scary it’d be getting chased by hundreds of those. When Bobby’s whole Bobby got stung, I just kept thinking, “Man, that would suck!”

I think I’d rather have to deal with one quig bear rather than hundreds of quig bees. I don’t think I could outrun that many.

  41. BuggyReality says:

The human or “gar” quigs were a bit scary too, because of them looking exactly like normal humans well excepts for the whole yellow quig eyes.

  42. Aquaneer ryder says:

I could just perfectly imagine the quits on denduron
Especially when they ate one another…
That sent a chill through my spine.

  43. Courtney chetwynde says:

Ya I think the quig spiders would scare me too. But I’m actually afraid of sharks so they would freak me out most

  44. BuggyReality says:

I wonder how Saint Dane made quigs. Maybe he had a super version of the Traveler persuasion power.

  45. Challenger Black says:

Yeah, the first time I read Black Water, and the tangs were introduced, I didn’t even realize they couldn’t be quigs because of the red eyes, and then when Bobby saw the quig humans, it hit me. Quig humans are pretty freaky. You wouldn’t expect them to be quigs, except for their eyes.

  46. MissBookworm says:

Yeah. I like how Telleo says that apparently he wasn’t allergic, and then Bobby asks how she knew and she just said
“Becuase if you were allergic, you would be dead,”
    LOL!

  47. Aquaneer ryder says:

    @missbookworm
    Yeah we are 😀
Everytime I comment I refresh to see the new comments haha
    It’s very busy

  48. Challenger Black says:

It’d be cool if Saint Dane had a quig pet that followed him around everywhere. Imagine him having a quig dog, always by his side, calling him, “Good boy.” 😛

  49. BuggyReality says:

Ugh, I found it strange that Nevva was flirting with Bobby as Tello even if it was just to distract him while Saint Dane undug the flume.

  50. Courtney chetwynde says:

Same by the time I read and comment threes always more and we r at 1400 now I think
