I had a request to start a blog where you could weigh in on thoughts about a movie based on The Merchant of Death and to discuss casting. This isn’t to say that a movie is imminent. It isn’t. But I’m working with some folks to develop one now, so you never know. (Just don’t hold your breath!)

Yup, I’ve read both and they’re both awesome, but of the two, my favorite was easily The Black. I absolutely loved that one. Cooper’s story was just so engaging. I won’t spoil anything, but it’s an awesome read.

My guess is book 3 will come out sometime in April, the same as books 1 and 2 did. It’s gonna be so hard waiting. I remember waiting the last few weeks for The Black to come out, and I felt like I just couldn’t wait any longer.

Do you think that Morpheus Road can tie in with Pendragon? I know there was a Mark Dimond reference, but some people thought that the watchers could be travelers.

Yeah, that crossed my mind reading book 2 as well. I think in one of D.J.’s blog videos, he mentioned book 3 would have some references to Pendragon, like similarities. I can’t wait to find out what they’ll be.

Yeah, I really couldn’t help but think that was Loor. And it wouldn’t surprise me if Press was there too. Now, if he would have spoken and said, “This is the way it was meant to be,” then we’d know for sure it’s him 😉
It’d be awesome if they were Travelers though. It’d be sort of like a Morpheus Road meets Pendragon.

Hmm…interesting thought. I never thought about that. Could be a possibility. That’d be awesome, and it would make sense too. Guess we’ll find out what happens in book 3. I know some people guessed the title as The Blood, but I’m not really sure what it could be.

It would be so cool seeing how the series could mix. Wow for all we know the Cooper’s spirit could be one of the travelers or their families. It’s very thought provoking.

It is. Really makes you think about the possibilities, with the Travelers, Watchers, Solara, spirits, etc. I think it would be neat if they somehow came together in book 3. Even if things in Pendragon aren’t referenced, even if things were similar, it would still be awesome.
Now I’m even more excited for book 3 🙂

Or maybe the guy named Damon lived in ancient times on one of the 3 earths. He died and went to the beginning of the morpheus road where he was then beat by Cooper. In book 3 Damon reconciles and goes to Solara pretending to be a goody 2 shoes spirit until the day he decides to control the fate of humanity again. It would make sense when SAint Dane wore khaki police clothes in the bronx subway station. They would be the color of the desert. Though this whole thing would raise somany time paradoxes that I can’t figure out even with the use of flumes. 🙂

Yeah, it would for sure. It’d be neat if somehow Saint Dane made an apperance in book 3, met up with Damon and the two had an intense conversation, and they both ended up going after Cooper and Marsh. It’d be neat too if Bobby and Mark could even appear, since they live in Stony Brook, just like Cooper and Marsh. And that could all be before Bobby set off to be a Traveler.

Hmm…I kind of have the feeling it happened before. Not sure why, I just have a feeling it would have happened before. Then again, it could have happened after it all.

I have a feeling you are right because of the mention of Mark working at the trophy place. He didn’t seem to working there during the Pendragon books and I doubt he would have done it after. It’s a bit confusing how Bobby got to live his life without Saint DAne. Did he flume back in time or was he in a Solaran illusion?

I didn’t even remember that about Mark. Yeah, I guess that would make sense for it to happen before. I’m pretty sure when Press let him have the life he never got, he flumed back in time, was able to live a regular life, and then when he and Courtney were old together, Bobby would then soon return to Solara. That would explain Press showing up with the journals, to prepare Bobby to return to Solara.
That’s my guess.

ok so mates i got a lot to say to everything i read. Brinsigr was a great book where he puts a lot of detail, that is why people thought it was boring. in book 4 i doubt arya is the rider. i am guessing roran as eragons cousin they share blood. Also quillen games was a great book, one of my favs. in morpehus road i read the 1st one a lot when i was home alone and could not go by any windows or anything after it. is the 2nd one out? i need to find it. i dont think that it would be combined with pendragon series because mark did not work before hand ( to young) and if you read the last book you know why mark could not then. might be 2nd to last cant remember. if you read it let me know if you understand. i think it might be a if travelers were not there what would happen type of thing. and in that sense bobby might join in but not as a traveler.
