I had a request to start a blog where you could weigh in on thoughts about a movie based on The Merchant of Death and to discuss casting. This isn’t to say that a movie is imminent. It isn’t. But I’m working with some folks to develop one now, so you never know. (Just don’t hold your breath!)

It just means he is talking to people about getting his story sold. In order to make a movie out of a book or series the author sells the movie rights to his series to a producing company. Like lionsgate or Disney or pixar etc. I’m not an expert on this so don’t blame me if some of his is wrong. But i think that’s how it works. After an author sells the right then the whole process begins

Wait a minute if he sells the rights to one of those companies, then they could choose their own director. Hopefully Mr. MacHale could direct it. 🙁

Even if he sells the rights he could still be involved even if he doesn’t direct. Suzanne Collins has been involved with the hunger games movie. Though I hope dj would direct, ik that if we want a movie that is probably no reasonable.

The Pendragon books are easily my favorite books EVER! I have given this movie thing alot of thought and to see that D.J. MacHale is too is a great feeling. I am soooo excited about this! I think Bobby Pendragon should be played by Logan Lerman, and I would absolutely LOVE to play Courtney! That would be my dream come true 🙂

Yeah, I have full faith in Pendragon that it would do extremely well. The books are amazing, and if the movies are done good and honor the books, I have no doubt the movies could be amazing as well.

2 things. one yea we are always on here so we really do love pendragon. 2nd Logan is to old to play bobby did a search and it said born in 92. so he is older than me.if he has a chance then i should try for bobby.

I looked up pendragon movie on google and I came across some blogs and some people said that the pendragon books were horrible and that a movie would be even worse…my mouth dropped open inshock. How could anyone say that!!

That’s crazy! How could anyone hate Pendragon? I can understand if you’re not into certain books, that’s okay, maybe not everyone is into that…but to hate it? That’s indeed shocking.

Pendragon is soooo good, it will make a good movie no matter what! But I do agree that it will be even better if it follows the book, has good actors that fit the characters, and not cheesy. Come on…….. A MOVIE WAS MEANT TO BE!!!!! 😀

I think that Bobby should be played by an unknown actor. That way, young hopeful actors may get a chance at a job in an actual movie.
