I had a request to start a blog where you could weigh in on thoughts about a movie based on The Merchant of Death and to discuss casting. This isn’t to say that a movie is imminent. It isn’t. But I’m working with some folks to develop one now, so you never know. (Just don’t hold your breath!)

I know. It’s been so long, 2 months and still we haven’t heard anything. I hope the movie is going to get made. I just hope the reason we haven’t heard news is because the movie might not get made 🙁

I have been hoping for a film to be made of this series for a while. I am a huge fan, have been for a while. It was awesomely written and was definitely captivating from page one. I reacently read “The Hunger Games” and was just brought back to this series. It was totally the Quillian Games meets Denduron. Needless to say, The Pendragon series was so much better.
I’m trying to think of who would be an awesome person to play Bobby. I like Josh Hutcherson. I think he could play the role well, he’s just too old now. Maybe it should just be new kids…
I think Nathan Kress, from iCarly, would be awesome to play as Mark. Again, he’s a little old now though. 😐
Maybe Saint Dane could be played by… John Malcovich. Or Ed Harris. Or Viggo Mortensen.
I definitely see Gunny as Michael Clark Duncan.
If a movie is made it would be fun to see the character age and mature along with the story, just as bobby did throughout the series. I hope it gets picked up… :] if “The Hunger Games” gets a movie, I think Bobby deserves a movie.
