I had a request to start a blog where you could weigh in on thoughts about a movie based on The Merchant of Death and to discuss casting. This isn’t to say that a movie is imminent. It isn’t. But I’m working with some folks to develop one now, so you never know. (Just don’t hold your breath!)

I’ve always wondered what the cover has to do with the book…I mean there’s no toxic waste or anything on veelox, so why pit that as a cover? Since that book is obviously my favorite book I really want to find out!

Ye,i guess they just used a techno symbol to represent the very advanced Veelox. It could also represent how the world is falling apart as people are living in lifelight. Then again it could be that thing that you use to control your lifelight experience. Just a few guesses.

I seriously think these books would be amazing movies. Maybe like do the first three or something. Or do the first one and the last..? Either way, MacHale? Your talent would be amazing on a movie screen. As for casting, please try not to put big name people in it. It’ll ruin it, for sure. Look at Harry Potter, they found all those people to play the parts. Searching for people is the way to go! Funny thing is, I look like Aja Killian, and I’m about her age. Think I could get a part…? ;] just kidding. But good luck on getting this into a movie!
