I had a request to start a blog where you could weigh in on thoughts about a movie based on The Merchant of Death and to discuss casting. This isn’t to say that a movie is imminent. It isn’t. But I’m working with some folks to develop one now, so you never know. (Just don’t hold your breath!)

But yeah, just because a book has lots of action, violence, etc, doesn’t mean that it’ll attact only boys. Lots of girls are into adventure/fantasy books. Those are my favorite kinds of books. Plus, there’s tons of girls out there that are huge Pendragon fans.

Okay, I’m a tomboy and so most people know I show my guy side then my girls side( that side usually comes out in time for flirting) but I know a ton of girly- girls who liked the books! When I heard that, I just stared at the computer screen for like, an hour thinking about how people could talk like that!!!

It starts like this:
So the camera sooms in on a basketball gym and the song Allstar starts playing. It goes in the gym and it shows Bobby on the free-throw line with 1 second on the clock and the crowd is deathly silent. Suddenly he makes the basket and the timer gies off and Stoneybrook wins the game. Then you here Courtney say ” Bobby, tell them how it really happened.” and Bobby says ” Fine, if you wanna go THAT way” all annoyed like.

The scene starts with mark at the basketball game conused at why there is no Bobby. When he gets Home and goes to bed he gets the ring from osa. The next day you get the scene where everyone is bugging him about Bobby so he goes to the bathroom and gets the first journal. Then you have Mark read the first line of the journal and then the scene turns to Bobby sayin by to his parents and then the whole thing with courtney and Bobby.
I have actually mapped out the entire first half of the book but that would take forever to type on here. Wow I just edited this and now it makes more sence. Hobey Ho,

I’m not saying that my way is the best, I just remembered that Bobby’s first journal starts at his house. But I really did like your begining. Then again, it’s not us who decides how the movie is going to start, its the writers.

Okay I said I would tell you how I did the first part of the book, so here you go, It would start at the basketball game, and all the basketball players would be wondering where Bobby was, then you would see Bobby at his house, and then Courtney would knock. Bobby answers the door, and then the part with Courtney happens like in the book, (I always thought the whole kissing scene HAS to happen) Then Press comes in. “Bobby.” Press says, Courtney and Bobby both look a little shocked, “I… Uh, have to go,” Courtney says slowly, then walks out the door. Okay I’m not going to go on this is too long lol…..
