I had a request to start a blog where you could weigh in on thoughts about a movie based on The Merchant of Death and to discuss casting. This isn’t to say that a movie is imminent. It isn’t. But I’m working with some folks to develop one now, so you never know. (Just don’t hold your breath!)

I would love it if there was a film made for the books but I’m afraid they would make the movie inaccurate and give the series a bad name. Still it would be awesome if they made it right.

Yeah I’m afraid they would mess it up if they made a movie. (I say that all the time don’t I?) They did that with Twilight, in my opinion at least. Of course twilight is kinda hard to do….

@batu warrior yeah my brother really likes the book Eragon, they made a movie out of it and he hated it, they do it a lot with good books.

@batu warrior I got stuck in the middle of eragon in this silly part with people talking in a tavern. It was such a boring book. The pendragon books have got to be my favorite or they are at a close tie with the Harry Potter books. I like those a lot too.

@ Kate I can’t remember how much I read….. My brother got the first Pendragon book for Christmas a couple years ago, he told me I should read it because he liked it, I said no the first two times, then I finally read it. Now I’m totally addicted.

I tried reading Eragon but got INCREDIBLY board. Morpheus Road is my favourite book EVER!!!! I’ve read it 9 times and I’m on the 10th!!!

The Eragon movie (in my opinion) was a good movie by itself (except for the long traveling scene >-<), but when compared to the book, it was terrible! Same with The Lightning Thief movie and (talking about the ending) the last Harry Potter movie, DH part 2. And I'm on book Seven now!!! ^-^
