I did an interview about The Black for the show The American Perspective with the host Judyth Piazza. It was both a radio interview and a podcast. You can follow this link to give a listen:

I’ve been having a great time answering the questions that have been coming in on the VYou site. It’s really fun to record these answers because I can speak off the top of my head as opposed to typing them out. That’s way easier.
I haven’t answered every question because, well, there are a lot of them. But also I only pick the questions that I think I have a somewhat interesting answer to give. So if I don’t answer your question it’s not because it isn’t a good question, it’s because I don’t necessarily have an interesting answer!
Here’s the address of the site. Stop on by and ask a question.

Check this site out…

You can ask me questions and I’ll check in every so often to post video responses. That should be really fun when I’m on tour…I think. Haven’t tried it yet. Hope it works.

Just finished Suzanne Collins’ brilliant “Hunger Games” trilogy. What a gripping story. It’s a great example of an adventure that is all about character where the protagonist must battle earth-shattering global conflict while trying to balance deeply personal dilemmas. If you haven’t read them yet, give the first one a try. You won’t regret it. Well done Suzanne!

A while back I was asked to sign a small scrap of material to be used in helping to raise funds for a worthy cause. A very dedicated woman named Jo Carver and many volunteers are trying to raise funds to build a library in the town of Coalville, Utah. The simple scrap of cloth was joined with several others to create a “Library Quilt”. Over fifty authors sent in signatures (I’m probably the LEAST known of them) and the result is a pretty amazing work of art.
I invite you to check it out at: http://www.joslibraryquilt.com/
For a donation (that’s the fund-raising part) you can enter a sweepstakes with the chance of winning the quilt. Check it out!
P.S. I am in no way affiliated with this sweepstakes. I’m just passing on the news. So if you have any questions about it, direct it to the Coalville library, okay?

Barnes & Noble (.com) is running an anti-bullying campaign on their websites. Lots of authors recorded videos in support of this…including me. Check it out at:

The Pendragon games on this site have been down for a long time. We’ve been looking in to why this has happened but we haven’t yet been able to figure it out.
However, you can still play all the games on the Yahoo site. Just go here:
http://kids.yahoo.com/games
And click on the “Pendragon” link. All the games are there!

The website was down for a while and it was all my fault.
I went to the admin page to do some maintenance and saw a “pop-up” that said something like: “Upgrade to newest version of software” for the website. So, I hit the button to upgrade…and the place blew up. Luckily it was an easy fix and guys smarter than me got it all back on track. Guess I won’t be hitting any buttons anymore.
