Spoiler Blog…BEWARE

Anybody who has been reading the Pendragon story knows how much I hate spoilers.  They totally ruin the reading experience.  But I know that everybody wants to discuss books, and it’s hard to do that without writing things that would be considered spoilers.  So…one reader suggested that I make a blog that is all about spoilers.  If you’re going to post something about a plot twist or a surprise, this is the place to do it.  Of course, many readers LIKE spoilers and will scan this blog to find everything they can.  But that’s their choice.  Hopefully, if most spoilers end up here, then readers won’t accidentally stumble on them.  It’s an experiment.  Let’s see if it works.

Your right Connor Im just going to say it your right that was uncle press who delivered the journals and french fries he also is going to deliver the journals of the other 9 traverlers too

  2. Cloralfan says:

just wondering is anybody else reading the pendragon before the war series ya know the prequels they tell the story of the other 9 travelers before they met bobby

  3. Ashley says:

Yeah, Cloralfan, I read the Before the War series. To be honest, I wasn’t the biggest fan of them, mainly because they only tell of the experience right before they become travelers, not the upbringing that prepared them to be travelers. Plus, they weren’t nearly long enough to get a decent amount of information. I was satisfied, but just barely.

  4. Zadaa Ghee says:

Me too, I mean it’s col getting to know the characters before their lives changed, but it wasn’t all that great, and Nevva wasn’t in there. Oh, and, halfway through the 9th book, and somebody PLEASE kill the creepy Naymeer kid,

  5. Toolbag says:

About the discussion on Ibara’s existence depending on Veelox’s fate.

I think Ibara would still be there regardless of whether or not Veelox was saved. We know territories are based on their respective turning points, and that turning points are set by the consequences of actions taken. However, we don’t know that only ONE turning point per territory is specified .

Had Aja’s and Dr. Zetlin’s actions to prevent the crowd in Rubic City (and, assumably, the rest of Veelox) worked, then Ibara may not exist DUE TO THAT FACTOR ONLY. Even if Aja and Zetlin and Bobby stopped Lifelight’s domination, who knows what else could eventually spring up to threaten Veelox’s future, like the Reality Bug, let alone Lifelight?

Maybe a group of Lifelight fanatics would band together to revolt against the government, had Lifelight been stopped! Maybe Aja (or even maybe someone else!!!! O_O) would have to retaliate and still create Ibara (assuming it would still be CALLED Ibara), but for that different reason.

So in all, I don’t think it’s for us to say that the territories are determined by a single turning point ONLY. Maybe the result of one turning point leads to complications and eventually the spike of another! Basically, Ibara MAY or MAY NOT exist, depending on each turning point Veelox faces.

  6. Cloralfan says:

I think your right toolbag the determination of a territory is about the turning points for example look at third earth (and for all of you who havent got this far this a definant spoiler) since mark brought the forge technology to first earth the future of the other earth territories were changed so if Veelox would have been saved Ibara would still exist just be a better version of the past Veelox (and probably called something else to).

  7. Zadaa Ghee says:

I think that Ibara would still exist, but had veelox been a victory, it would be a deserted island, or people could have moved into Ibara (the Island, not territory) whether they were forced to or not.

  8. Me says:

It’s called the spoiler blog, so i want someone to spoil it for me.
I love the books, but i barely picked them up last week 🙁
Im almost done with the second book, so i’m wondering about first and third earth…
    SPOIL ME!

  9. Cloralfan says:

Alright Me your wish is my comand there IS a first and third earth. first earth is just earth back in 1937 and third earth is again just earth but 3000 years into the future. so imagine that while waiting for book three becuase you get to hear about both in thaat book

  10. Me says:

Ok i just got the third book at school today, and im at the part where they just arrived to first earth and some old guy told bobby and spader to follow him

  11. Allison says:

I’m trying to remember, but I think that was Gunny, the Traveler from 1st Earth. hehehe! I’t fun to know things other people don’t!!! I finally some what understand what people are talking about Solara. Me, you won’t hear about that until the tenth book, so keep reading

  12. Zadaa Ghee says:

yeah, that would be me above, I keep forgetting to change the name.

  13. Daniel (Me from up there ^) says:

    Im halfway through the third…

  14. Markus says:

That one is my favorite. The Thrid. I read that one in one day, and took only one break to go to Chipotle. Yum…. Chipotle…… *goes off into Chipotle land…*

  15. Quillian Challenger says:

I just finish number 7 where they go to Quillian. It was boring but revealed so much that is why it rules. Man. I was so thinking that Saint Dane was forever dead. THen I remembered that he can’t die like that. WHY IN THE WORLD! Man I hate him. You know, the funny thing is that there can be two of him at once because he can be himself the first time around and then go to the flume and go back in time at the place he was at and he could see himself!
Go Bobby and friends. My favorite book was 3rd.

  16. Quillian Challenger says:

Mark made the Dados. THAT WAS A BIG SPOILER.
Andy Mitchel is Saint Dane. ANOTHER SPOILER.

  17. Quillian Challenger says:

    HOBEY HO LETS GO!

  18. Daniel says:

I just finished the 3rd and on the first chapter of the 4th.

Sorry but i just have to ask, im a little ashamed but in my defense i never listen in social studies: was the Hindenburg real?
    Dumb question i know

  19. Daniel says:

Sorry i just looked it up. I feel dumb now hehe

  20. Markus says:

Don’t worry i didn’t know, and had to ask my brother. 🙂

  21. Quillian Challenger says:

the hindenburg started the ww2. it isn’t that big as the titanic but it was so important. But i have something else that is funny: why would Bobby worry about the hindenburg when in the second-earth there is proof that the hindenburg did crash. So that is why time travel books are always messed up somewhere.

  22. Ashley says:

Maybe Bobby didn’t know as well? I mean, I did, but that made me realize that Bobby is human. He forgets things, he doesn’t know other things. Everything just fits together. This “time travel” book isn’t messed up, but slightly more realistic.

  23. Rik says:

oh my goes spader and a pingwin is SOOOOO COOL spolier.

  24. Cloralfan says:

    Ok the then Rik

  25. Zadaa Ghee says:

What Happened to Loor?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Don’t get me wrong, these books are wicked awesome, and the ending is awesome, but the epilogue ending part I Really REALLY (ok, I think you get it now) Really ( sry I had to do it one more time) Hate. Ok, just a thought.

P.S. Loor is my favorite character And I was Really (really) mad she wasn’t in the ending.

  26. Daniel says:

Almost at the end of fourth.
Just got to the part where they find Zetlin

  27. Markus says:

Eeeeewwwwww!!!!!!! That’s a really good part!!!!!!

  28. Darkness says:

    HEHAHE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  30. Darkness says:

sorry for the double (now triple) post.

  31. Book #4 says:

im at the end of the fourth one and my friend is on the start of the 5th, he said the quigs are human

  32. Book #4 says:

    is any one there?

  33. gansta Traveler(im also book #4 says:

    dang

  34. gansta Traveler says:

    *whistles*

  35. gansta Traveler says:

im just gona go finish book 4

  36. Darkness says:

don’t post every five minutes. it gets people annoyed. trust me, i did it a few times and latter that day i looked back to see if anyone answered and this dude (or dudette) yelled at me in all caps saying to stop posting every five minutes and if you haven’t started the fifth one, your friend is correct, the quigs are humans called gars. hope that helps

  37. disagree says:

I’m thinking about what toolbag said about Ibara. And then I thought, what if the territories were in a different dimension. It makes sense. The territories can not be in the same dimension because eventually they would end up being connected by some futuristic form of transportation which according to press would be impossible because no planet (because territories are planets in a different time, not dimension) can interact with another planet unless there is some kind of divine help.

  38. pendragon spoiler says:

    Super Spoiler Alert!!!

The alternate reality in book 3 where third earth is a ruin comes true. Patrick lives next to the fallen statue of liberty

  39. Swiffy says:

BIG SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN’T READ BOOK EIGHT:

Ibara (the territory) is really VEELOX. Just sounded like fun to throw a spoiler out there. 😉

  40. random person says hello says:

    @Swiffy
that’s what this blog is for right? so it’s ok to post spoilers.

  41. Daniel says:

    @Swiffy

Really? Does Veelox have two turning points or what?

Im near the end on the fifth one where Mark, Courtney, and Vo ( I call him Vo =D) go to Eelong. Exactly at the part where Ranjin gives up the staff to Timber.

That book says the rules have changed. Is that why Veelox is in the series again, or is it just because?

One last question, for those of you who have finished the series: How many territories are lost?

Sorry for the question bombarding 😉

  42. Daniel says:

I’m sorry for double posting but i have another question (sorry!).Might be more of a statement.

Is Ibara an island and a territory both with the same name?

If it is then ok, but if it isn’t and Ibara is actually Veelox, then what’s the 10th territory? Or does Ibara count as it?

Getting confused! @_@ sorry again for all the questions

  43. gansta Traveler says:

what hppens at the nd of the 10th one?

  44. random person says hello says:

    @gansta Traveler
    can’t tell you that. sorry!
    @Daniel
be patient and get to the 8th one fast!!! it kind of explains everything and if you don’t get it, it IS a territory and an island. to go to Ibara you have to say Ibara into the flume but if you say Veelox, you end up when it was falling into chaos.

  45. random person says hello says:

    sorry for the double post.
    @Daniel
i don’t remember what book it is (9th or 10th) but for your first question i can’t really answer that you have to read the rest of the books. as for your second question. that’s kind of hard to answer. for sure there was Veelox, kind of. but in the 9th and 10th all the territories kind of have another turning point. sorry if that didn’t help.

  46. Markus says:

Was everyone else surprised when loque turned out to be alive? No one? Darn, only me…

  47. Lead Traveler says:

i was. i liked how d.j. throws curves at you, you don’t expect.

  48. Markus says:

    me too!

  49. Lead Traveler says:

it’s awesome. that’s why i love his books and i’m basically forcing my friends to read them.

  50. Markus says:

    Lol ditto
