A while back I was asked to sign a small scrap of material to be used in helping to raise funds for a worthy cause. A very dedicated woman named Jo Carver and many volunteers are trying to raise funds to build a library in the town of Coalville, Utah. The simple scrap of cloth was joined with several others to create a “Library Quilt”. Over fifty authors sent in signatures (I’m probably the LEAST known of them) and the result is a pretty amazing work of art.
I invite you to check it out at: http://www.joslibraryquilt.com/
For a donation (that’s the fund-raising part) you can enter a sweepstakes with the chance of winning the quilt. Check it out!
P.S. I am in no way affiliated with this sweepstakes. I’m just passing on the news. So if you have any questions about it, direct it to the Coalville library, okay?
Barnes & Noble (.com) is running an anti-bullying campaign on their websites. Lots of authors recorded videos in support of this…including me. Check it out at:
The Pendragon games on this site have been down for a long time. We’ve been looking in to why this has happened but we haven’t yet been able to figure it out.
However, you can still play all the games on the Yahoo site. Just go here:
http://kids.yahoo.com/games
And click on the “Pendragon” link. All the games are there!
The website was down for a while and it was all my fault.
I went to the admin page to do some maintenance and saw a “pop-up” that said something like: “Upgrade to newest version of software” for the website.  So, I hit the button to upgrade…and the place blew up. Luckily it was an easy fix and guys smarter than me got it all back on track. Guess I won’t be hitting any buttons anymore.
Just turned in the latest draft of Morpheus Road: The Black. Yeah! Ready for a little down-time.
Next month The Monster Princess publishes. I know that most of you readers won’t be running out to get that because it’s a picture book, but if you know of some little ones…
We’ll be posting a book trailer on the site in a few weeks.
Now that The Light has been out for a month, I figured it was okay to start a topic to discuss it.
For those who have read my Pendragon books, you know that I write stories that don’t always go where you think they’re going. Morpheus Road is no different. At the end of “The Light” there are some very big twists and story shifts . . . not the least of which is the reveal of what Gravedigger is all about. Or not about. Who thinks they know where the story is now headed?
