One of the scenes in Morpheus Road: The Light was easy to write because I based it on something that actually happened to me. I won’t go into detail here until after the book comes out (you know, spoilers) but I will say it has something to do with Marsh Seaver being home alone playing music. . . and hearing some very strange sounds. What I wrote about in the book is pretty much exactly what happened to me, and I was never able to explain what it was, other than to believe there was something truly other-wordly going on.
Has anybody else had something spooky happen to them? Only real stories, please. No fiction.

In my room, there’s a little door that leads to, well, to the inside of the wall xD There’s pink insulation and beams and stuff in there. One night I heard this thumping that sounded like my cat scratching on my bedroom door, but when I listened harder it was coming from the little door that went into the wall! My bed is pushed up to the wall so it couldn’t have been that someone went in there to play a joke (and it was the middle of the night.) I’ve been hearing it ever since at random times and am now completely convinced there’s a flume hidden in there and that I should go let Arkd out but then I wonder if maybe it’s someone evil like Saint Dane. True story (sorry for the long post) Am I going crazy?

I used to have a haunted t.v. It had a built in v.c.r. thingy, and when you put a movie in it would spit it back out. My dad took a flashlight to look at it, and when he put the vcr in to see what happened, it worked! after that, every time we shone the light on it it wouldn’t spit it out!

I looked in the little door in my room and found a white bar thing in there that I swear to whatever the most powerful thing out there is, wasn’t there before. Whoever was in there though, got impatient and left 🙁

Yeah, one of the rooms in my house is haunted. I keep on hearing the door thumping when I’m down there. You might be saying ” It’s probaly the wind or a pet.” No, the windows were closed and both of my cats were in my sights. and sometimes I see vague outlines of figures.

Every since I was a child I would have these scary dreams of death and murder plus some other violent things that doctors said are night terrors. I thought that was it at first because they were so scary my hair turned from brown to white in 3 months. I began to notice as well as my family that some of my dreams were coming true. I would dream of a relative dying and when I woke up I would tell my parents only to get a phone call that night about it. I have predicted 3 deaths of family members , 1 death at my fathers work, and I also predicted that someone would be going to the hospital. I now keep a journal with dates and I have found that my dreams that come true happen within a week of having them. I have noticed that I am also dreaming of my relatives childhood. I can describe memories to people from their childhood by just shaking their hand. That is new. I still have yet to figure out some things that happen to me. For example I predicted the lottery numbers a few times but never in time to play them. I always write them down seconds before they are drawn. I will get flashes of numbers and symbols in which I will write down but I never figure out what they mean. That is my scary supernatural experience. It may not be scary for you but I live with it everyday. The worst part is when you know exactly what is going to happen and how and knowing there is no way to change it.

That is incredible! I only have little things like seeing me standing by a wall talking to a random kid. The next year it happened. But for you it was more big stuff. And it happened in a week. That I think is truly amazing. With me it’s just a little rememberance but with you.WOW!

I have had supernatural experiences infact i was reborn with one. It was a time when my mother was a pastoring and i was a bad child. However, i was seeking for 7 days for a type of truth. I wanted to know for myself if Jesus was real or not. I started seeking when i found a way to seek. I saw in the bible where it said that i must go to the lord in secret and ask. So for 7 days i went in secret, asking, and repenting. I wasnt being repititous because afterwards i said Lord u got it! I really wanted to find this man and i would have done anything to do it. I knew i was a sinner because that was the truth my mother let me knew when i thought i was serving the lord but its bad to be ignorant. So on that Sunday my mother got up from the altar and touched me on my belly asking me why are u still standing? I was amazed at the feeling i felt and the event of her touching me without knowing what happened. The feeling i felt was a tingling in my belly like something was moving inside me. However that was only the beginning i dont want to write too much but i am willing to share.

One day after watching a movie named The Covenant, i felt something pulling me at night. I couldnt move and i screamed for my parents but they couldnt hear me. I would sit on the chair at night like a demon. My mother said that she thought i was possessed for a while. One Saturday i saw what i really wanted, may have even visualized it. I wanted to know if Jesus was real and if I really felt him that Sunday. But on that day of Saturday a voice spoke to me and told me to purge. I went in the bathroom and said Jesus, Jesus, Jesus over and over again. Until i saw white spit. After i sat back in the chair rocking like a crazy person but it was a habbit i had since i was small. That night my mother was talking to her friend and my mother said that she felt the holy spirit speaking within her about contraction when a baby is born. Then she said that the Lord gave her an assignment that Sunday and she was to be laid on the altar. Now i was amazed at this because i told her nothing about me doing anything for the lord. See i did it in secret. On the altar she laid in a position like she was giving birth and she pushe for this power that was promised to her. I was in the back of the Church feeling unworthy to praise the lord. A voice told me to worship the lord. I worshipped but it wasnt me. Inside of me was saying Jesus walked, Jesus talked, and it was in utterance that it was sayin it. I felt fire inside of me and it felt so good, joy and true happiness. I was so excited I finally found this man that i was searching for. I finally knew that i will have a purpose. My life was changed eversince. People have told me that they thought i was holy but i say to them Jesus is holy. always and forever. amen

I have an uncle who told me that the bible was untrue and for a while I believed him. Especially when he showed me the bible contradictions on the internet. It was during those times when i felt that I had to find the answers for myself. Now my experience can help him. Isn’t that amazing! and i ask you what is the difference between supernatural and religious experiences?

I think there’s a big difference from Supernatural and Religous experience. First off, If you think you’re being ” Haunted” chances are its not an angel tormenting you until you go insane. It might not be an evil spirit but not an angel. A lot of times the supernatural experiences aren’t bad. Take Marshal Seaver as an example. He has Gravedigger haunting him, thats no angel, but there is also good supernatural stuff going on too. That’s all I’m gonna say because you might not have finished Morpheus Road. And mind this is just an oppinion. Say what you want to say, please.

When i was little (I mean 2 or three, not yet sleeping on bed) I saw a crocodrile come out of my blankets, and before that I never knew how a crocodrile really lookes, as I had only seen them in cartoons.
Another time, when I was twelve, at a campfire at night, I saw a blue light, like a small laser, but without the little light “tube” that comes from a laser, and saw a dark shape. It was like a bear, and the light was from where I thought his eye was. Even tough the bear was far away, he slashed at the air and it hit my arm. The strangest thing was that my blood was glowing, sort of, like a toy so to say, and the creature was gone. At sunrise, my blood was back to normal (relative term) and I still have those three scars in my arm.

I will be sure to check that Minority Case movie out..I have never heard of it… I always think that my dreams have stopped but right when I do I get a rush of them every night for months ..It is so unpredictable ..I wouldn’t mind as much if I had some control over what I see. I do remember the worst dream I had was about a man who killed some women..I can remember that I was outside the kitchen window looking in and he strangled her at the kitchen table then made dinner , lit candles, and ate with her body sitting there.. I can remember clearly what she was wearing and for a short moment I got a perspective from his eyes as he looked in the mirror. I could go into more detail about how he got rid of the body as well.. That is one dream that I never proved but it felt like all the rest…

I had dreams of crocadiles, jason, michael myers, and a dragon all hunting me. In one of the dreams about the crocadile i was just walking on the beach and i saw a head of an alligator sticking out of the water. It’s head wasnt towards me so it wasnt facing me. So in seeing the back of its head i walked up on it and it snapped its teeth in front of my face really quick but it didn’t get my head because i backed up. Then I thought i was awake but i was paralyzed and i heard a noise of roaring like it was full of hate towards me. The smell in my room was so bad like sulfur. I know that other people have had that same smell but i call that a spirit of darkness. I dont know anything else to call it! Still not trying to sound all religous.

I don’t think seeing a cat count as a supernatural experience unless you see a cat in your house and you don’t have a cat. Cats are very sthelthy, you may think it wasn’t there but they can walk up to you with out a sound.

Wow i only see myself in dreams. Like this one dream I kept looking in the mirror saying the truth. Then i saw children being hypnotized by music. They was repeating the words from their head phones like zombies. I, infact, had that dream when a spirit of holiness entered inside me and changed me. I never been the same since. Also, after I had that dream i saw a big hand trying to smuther me, and it pushed me off the bed.

i really do have a creepy supernatural experience. (don’t want to burst a lot of your guys bubble, but a lot of those experiences aren’t supernatural) ANYWAYS! i really do have a ghost/spirit in my house: well a lot of things have happened but i’ll only say a few. for a while every night me and my sister would hear footsteps in our room. (wood floors) like they were walking towards me.(it was creepy) so when i opened my eyes, the steps would stop. so i was a little creeped out, but when i closed them again it started walking towards me again. then you would get super hot. i’m not sure i felt like that cuz i was scared, but i would then wake up feeling super hot, when i had no covers on! that went on for like 2 weeks. then me and my mom where down stairs when we heard this kid voice yell “mom” down the stairs. it was scary cuz we were the only people in the house. and that happened quite a few times.

where do you live? and maybe somebody was murdered in your house. that would explain for the footsteps and the voice saying mom. did it yell mom or did it just say plainly mom like you’re asking a question? cause if the voice was yelling maybe the kid was murdered and was visting it’s old rooms(footsteps) and if it’s yelling and it sounds like they’re yelling in disbelief maybe the mom killed her kid. anyway, pleasant thoughts!!!!
