Spoiler Blog…BEWARE

Anybody who has been reading the Pendragon story knows how much I hate spoilers.  They totally ruin the reading experience.  But I know that everybody wants to discuss books, and it’s hard to do that without writing things that would be considered spoilers.  So…one reader suggested that I make a blog that is all about spoilers.  If you’re going to post something about a plot twist or a surprise, this is the place to do it.  Of course, many readers LIKE spoilers and will scan this blog to find everything they can.  But that’s their choice.  Hopefully, if most spoilers end up here, then readers won’t accidentally stumble on them.  It’s an experiment.  Let’s see if it works.

that’s fine. wow. sorry i’m watching a wierd show called….i don’t remember. scientists are trying to prove if 2012 is the end of the world. but so far…nothing. just that a lot of religious acient people said that dec. 21st 2012 something incredible going to happen. people always think the worst. what if it’s something good? it could be world peace for a day, people will stop polluting, or, or, or… there’s a lot more things that are good that could happen than bad. it’s dumb. people should look on the bright side of life than the bad. look for rainbows in 2012!!!!!!!!! ok everyone?!?!?!

  7. bri says:

i look for rainbows every year.

  8. bri says:

  12. bri says:

    sorry. stupid computer.

  13. random person says:

it was confusing. i don’t think they decided on everything.

  14. random person says:

    i mean anything.

  15. Mozartghost says:

    Umm…
    ?

  16. random person says:

what? i was watching this really wierd show that we were talking. i don’t think that they decided that 2012 is doomsday. it was hard to understand their conclusion.

  17. Mozartghost says:

Get back on topic, Random topic person!

  18. Mozartghost says:

    Who wants a Pendragon movie?
    I do.
    A lot.

  19. Tammy says:

Very much so, yes. I’ve been reading the books for a few years now and I’d love to see them on the big screen. Even if they weren’t exactly how I pictured them, that’d be okay. Seeing it all in front of me would be too exciting. It’d be even greater to be able to compare the books to the films and see how they’re similar, different, etc. But I could ramble on for days…

So I’ll keep it short and simple. Yes, I’d like a Pendragon movie 🙂

  20. bri says:

this is supposed to be about Pendragon and about a spoiler blog.

  21. Mozartghost says:

    PENDRAGON MOVIE PPPPPPPLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEAAAAAASSSSSSSSEEEEEE!!!!!
    DJ make one.

  22. bri says:

say DJ make one, PLEASE. not just make one. show some respect for your elders (not that you’re old dj, just that you are older than use).

  23. bri says:

    i mean us. sorry.

  24. Nevva says:

I was thinking about something. Just my own thoughts here, but if you think about, if a Pendragon movie were to be made, it really wouldn’t be that big of a deal compared to the books. Because when I read Merchant of Death, I have my own images of how things play out and how things look, etc. So let’s say things in the Merchant of Death movie aren’t exactly how I pictured them. Or, let’s say they’re not how I pictured them whatsoever. It’s not a big deal. If I were to go back and re-read Merchant of Death, my own images of how things look would come right back in my head. A book and a movie are two completely different things. Seeing a movie shouldn’t ruin what’s in your head while reading the book(s).

Sorry for rambling on. Just wanted to get my opinion out there 🙂

  25. Marina says:

Ok, I’m kinda sick of talking about the Pendragon movie. I mean, not that I don’t want one. Don’t get me wrong. I do! I just really don’t think that talking about it so much is going to change anything. If they make it, they make it. If they don’t, they don’t.

  26. bri says:

i ditto Marina. except for the part about wanting one.

  27. Marina says:

I don’t know whether I want one or not. It depends on how it turns out. Now that I’m done with the series, I don’t care. I just don’t like how, if you’re still reading the series, the movie determines what the characters look like for you. But since I’m done, I’m kind of indifferent.

  28. Mozartghost says:

    Exactly My POINT!

  29. random person says:

exactly who’s point? i’ve heard that it’s this person’s point, that person’s point, all of my points, and, and, and!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! urgh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can we just leave the topic alone?!?! just leave it at: if they make one, they make one. if they don’t, they don’t.

WHO’S EXCITED FOR SCHOOL?!!??!?!?!?!?!?!? I’M NOT.

  30. Tum-Tigger says:

Does anyone think Mark’s death was completely pointless? I don’t know why that was even there. It’s the epilogue, everyone’s suppossed to be happy and then it just says that Mark died. Why couldn’t it just show all three of them reading the journals instead? I’m aware that it was supposed to relive Uncle Press interrupting the kiss, but it could’ve shown Mark come in shortly after and say “Who was that guy? He looks familiar.” Hearing about him die just made me say “Oh…”. I don’t think it was a very good idea at all. Just makes me sad for a very unneccesary reason.

  31. amanda says:

    @Tum-Tigger

Yeah That Would Have Been Better. I Like Your Name 🙂

  32. Marina says:

I don’t know. If everyone lived, it would be too Disney. So, happily ever after. It’s lame. I think that makes it more realistic. More real.

  33. bri says:

    i agree with Marina.

  34. Nevva says:

I agree with Marina as well. You can’t always have all the characters live. It’d be too perfect. Life isn’t like that. Sadly, people do die and having something like that just makes the ending that much more realistic.

Am I upset Mark passed away? Yes! But I’d rather have a more realistic ending as opposed to a “happily ever after” sort of ending, you know?

    Just my thoughts.

  35. Mozartghost says:

In Oog story Lots of Cave men die.
    Oog kill some,
    Urg Kill some…
By the Way, It caveman week so write caveman story.

  36. Lead Traveler says:

um…this has made no sense to me. the part about the cavemen that is.

  37. Marina says:

    I know! 😀

  38. Mozartghost says:

    It Caveman week.
    Write Caveman story.
And DJ if you’re not too busy you can write one too.

  39. Lead Traveler says:

    um…no thanks.

  40. Marina says:

Hey Mozartghost! You know I had a dream that I met you. You were playing the piano at Carnagie Hall. It was awesome!

  41. Lead Traveler says:

wierd. very wierd. if i didn’t know better, Marina, i would think that you have a crush on someone that you haven’t seen yet.

  42. Marina says:

So, saying that I saw some dude that I’ve only talked to on the computer before playing the piano automaticly makes people assume that I have some crush on him? Wow! That’s kinda sad. For the record, I don’t. I just think that his ability to play music is cool becuase I’ve always wanted to.

  43. Mozartghost says:

    Yes people…
This is Caveman Week; not See-how-strange-you-can-be week.
Oh, and I actually had a best friend who sang in Carnegie Hall…
    He couldn’t even read notes!

  44. Marina says:

Oh my gosh! No way! What did he/she sing?

  45. Mozartghost says:

I don’t know what he sang, but it was a children’s charity chorus and they didn’t even know what harmony was.
They won a competition that let them sing there.

  46. Marina says:

    Wow! That’s pretty spectacular!

  47. Marina says:

I’d give anything to do that!

  48. bri says:

    what? i’m not following.

  49. Vo Spader says:

man i would like to see all of the books as movies kinda like goosebumps al-tho 100 X better

  50. bri says:

i would like a movie that followed the books. but if they don’t i’ll probably sick for days.
