Anybody who has been reading the Pendragon story knows how much I hate spoilers. They totally ruin the reading experience. But I know that everybody wants to discuss books, and it’s hard to do that without writing things that would be considered spoilers. So…one reader suggested that I make a blog that is all about spoilers. If you’re going to post something about a plot twist or a surprise, this is the place to do it. Of course, many readers LIKE spoilers and will scan this blog to find everything they can. But that’s their choice. Hopefully, if most spoilers end up here, then readers won’t accidentally stumble on them. It’s an experiment. Let’s see if it works.

The whole series is amazing, though the two books after the last really where not very important in the Pendragon series. A movie would be nice, though…but don’t make it very different than the books. The lightning thief book is also, not as good as yours, quite good but they totally failed making the movie. Pendragon series is a must read three times book!

I love Pendragon so much. it makes me sad to know i have read all ten books. their amazing and deserve a high standard honorable award. calling these books amazing can be the worst understatement out there. though your writing creates such an amazing movie in my head that i shake with anticipation of a movie. i feel like if you make a movie you should wait and make it just write because these novels would be an elegant movie series. take time and prefect the movies if you decide too. i feel like if i read one of your other series ill betraying bobby and the travelers! thats how good this series is. i wish it would never stop!!!!!

When I was done with the series, I had post-book depression. At the last page of The Soldiers of Halla, my heart was pounding, and after a couple minutes, I was like, ‘What! It’s over?!?!’. So, I was board out of my mind, wishing there was another novel. I mean, Bobby and Courtney reading an adventure again? Good ending, but still. Did it have to end? *Sigh*. Now, yes, D.J. MacHale, make a movie. You have the know-how. You know these novels better than anyone. D.J MacHale, I dare you to make a movie series from the Pendragon series. Impress me.

Please, just turn it into a tv series. Forget the movie. Start with a young actor and carry him through ten seasons of pendragon. C’mon. Think about all the cute, vicious klees coming to life. You can’t fit all of that into movies. Think about how many movies that would have to be.
All begging aside, I loved it whole-heartedly. I think I really starting flipping pages like my life depended on it on the eighth book, though.
ps um how come bobby looks like a completely different person in every different book cover, I can’t get a clear pic of him.

I love the pendragon books as much as anyone and am hoping for a movie. It would bring so much publicity to the pendragon books. Also Bobby kicks Saint Dane’s… You get the point. I think, if you can’t make a movie, make a book explaining Halla like what happened to Alexander Naymeer and How Halla & Solara were created and why each territory is different and where the flumes WERE.

Do the old people versions of Bobby and Courtney know about Halla, Solara, and the Travelers, or not?
Also, I think this is one of the best book series I have ever read. I love all the characters and the story line and how the book is set up with the journals. I love Bobby’s personality and sarcasm through out the story and think D.J MacHale did an AMAZING job writing the story. As with all books, I hate reading the ending. With the first nine books, I finished them all within a day. But, with the final book, I stretched it out and read it for a week because I didn’t want it to be over. I think it’s terrible how Mark died. I always thought he would live forever. I think the series should be turned into a TV series because that way everything could be put in the right way and nothing would be left out. So, to any screen writer who doesn’t think this should be a TV series, you are out of your mind.

But, what happened to Naymeer? He fell into the flume, right? But nobody else died going into the flume, so why did he? Or is Bobby not really a killer?
Another question, about the ending, did it really happen? Or maybe it was like a Lifelight jump? I’d love it either way. But if it was real, did they have to recreate physical forms for EVERYBODY in ALL the territories, just so that the Travellers could live their lives?
I don’t know just curious. I wouldn’t be asking if I didn’t like the books, and to be honest, it’s more like an addiction. 😉

I don’t quite understand how you couldn’t figure out who the guy in the epilogue was.. I mean, it was pretty much stated loud and clear. Unless you forgot what Press looked like, I mean, it seems sort of obvious, I guess? I dunno, I just thought it was pretty simple because I got it right away. One more thing: Press has just this knack for walking in whenever Bobby and Courtney are kissing, I MEAN REALLY XD It’s just hilarious.
