One of the scenes in Morpheus Road: The Light was easy to write because I based it on something that actually happened to me. I won’t go into detail here until after the book comes out (you know, spoilers) but I will say it has something to do with Marsh Seaver being home alone playing music. . . and hearing some very strange sounds. What I wrote about in the book is pretty much exactly what happened to me, and I was never able to explain what it was, other than to believe there was something truly other-wordly going on.
Has anybody else had something spooky happen to them? Only real stories, please. No fiction.

One time I twitched in my bed and hit something solid at the end of my bed and my door is locked and if someone picked the lock, I would of heard it. And I know there wasn’t anything there when I turned off the light.

the strangest thing happened to me just last night. I was in my bed and an entity was biting me on my hand. I had my eyes closed then its like my bed grabbed me while i was laying upwards. Its like I was so drained that I just kept waking up but falling back to sleep. I wanted to stay awake because everytime i went back to sleep it would start again. While I was laying with my back upwards, I felt something on top of me so I looked up and saw a dark shadow on me. The next morning it was all a memory. Strange isnt it?

1- if i start running or twitch in my dream i wake up because i did twitch. i think it’s wierd.
2- one night i had a dream and in my dream i saw myself sleeping and in my dream my alarm clock rang and since it can change colors the color was blue and it was 10. i reached over in my dream and turned my alarm off and right as i did that in my dream my REAL alarm clock rang and it was on the color blue but it was 9. it was really wierd.

When I was younger, I was really in to bugs…Especially scary ones. I kept Black Widows at 5 years old.
Well one night, I had a dream that showed me the exact location in my yard that had a giant spider I had never seen before.
I mean it was precise to the foot…because when I woke up I went to that exact spot and caught a spider of gargantuan proportions!

can someone answer my question please? i hate spiders too. once, when we were renting, a gianormous wolf spider crept out from behind some boxes, me already being deathly scared of spiders, even the small ones, screamed like bloody murder. thankfully my dad and sister were in the garage (where we were) and my dad smashed it with the broom he was sweeping the garage out with. it was horrible.

I have a Pseudoscorpion preserved in alchohol.
I caught it and killed it myself.
It’s like a little scorpion (AND I MEAN small) with no Sting-tail, but poisonous claws. Look it up, it’s cool…or creepy, I mean Clown Forest creepy if those things swarm on you.
And one time I was dissecting a frog and I cut open its intestines and there were two scorpion claws there.
Don’t ask me how!
(There were NO other scorpion parts but TWO DISTINCT CLAWS!)

Or the time we got lost in the dark pine woods 2 miles from our house and then came to a clearing that had a stream and a very distinct-looking tree, and the tree had a skull hanging on it with AV carved into the scull and we ran around and came back to the exact clearing and the skull was gone?
