    @ Simone
    That’s interesting.

    @ It’s not a man purse it’s a satchel
I’ll have to remember that if I ever get stabbed.

  2. It's not a man purse it's a satchel says:

    Well you’re welcome then

  3. JuneLyn says:

    @its not a … a satchel (still too lazy)

im asking! why the heck would you do that!?

    @ ….well…..basically everybody.

we have uses for pennies and nickles. pennies you can use to do tax and if you pay a ten for something that is only 7.98 (including tax) then you wont get your full money back! you wont get a whole eight cents and that adds up in a year. if we lost almost ten cents on every purchase you made for a year and you bought about ten things a week (like groceries) then you would lose…. $50.00 a year. thats only buying ten things a day (and of course this is all just estimated) without the penny and nickle, we would lose a lot of money. no joke.

how old are you and how many books have you written?

    @ the Doctor

    i love those machines too!!!!

a lot more people to talk to this time…huh weird 🙂
by the way, it took me about three minutes to type this with the math.

oh one more question how old are all of you? i cant tell if your adults kids or teenagers! its driving me nuts!

  4. JuneLyn says:

    Excuse me, i meant $51.43 not $50.00

  5. JuneLyn says:

except in a leap year because then it would be $52.14 (not to be technical or anything)

  6. BuggyReality says:

If you guys want more ppl to talk to go the pendragon movie blog post

  7. JuneLyn says:

    nah….were good 🙂

  8. It's not a man purse it's a satchel says:

I’m fifteen. And the milk is supposed to calm the pain

  9. The Doctor says:

    Outwardly, I’m 19. Inwardly, I’m more like 15.

  10. Simone says:

    @ JuneLyn
I am 12, but i’m not a crazy dozen year old. How old are you? I have not FINISHED any of my books unfortunately, but i have around 20 to 30 that i am writing now. Only 5 of them are actually good.

    @ It’s a man purse not a satchel
    Milk? Hmm…that’s a good fact.

    🙁 🙂 ;( 😉

  14. Simone says:

😀 Too bad the winky sad face doesn’t have an actual face. 🙂 🙁 😉

  15. The Doctor says:

You’re working on all those books at once?!? I’m only working on one short story and one book (which admittedly has about a thousand plots in it). And I feel like my brain’s going to explode.

    ~Happy writing

  16. It's not a man purse it's a satchel says:

How do you do that smiley face with the huge smile and shows all the teeth?

  17. JuneLyn says:

    @ Simone

you’re only twelve!? you do not sound twelve. did you skip some grades? ahead in english? im only thirteen almost fourteen…this is really weird for me.
twenty to thirty!? you’re insane. how do you not write something in the wrong book? thats what would happen to me!

    @ it’s not a man purse it’s a satchel
you do the eyes : and then the smile D together: 😀 yay!! 🙂 you do seem fifteen 🙂 no offense

    @ the doctor

you’re the oldest one on here! what do you do? are you in college?

  18. Simone says:

    @ JuneLyn
Well i am homeschooled which doesn’t necessarily make a difference, but when you’re homeschooled, you can work on all grades at once. I am technically in 6th grade, but i am doing 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th. I may sound like a nerd but i’m really not. 😀 I actually have wrote the wrong thing in a different story, but i have them organized. 😀 I write mostly fiction.

    @The Doctor
Well, most of the stories i am working on are just tiny, maybe about 100 pages. But maybe five or six are my REAL ones. 🙂 I am not sure why i don’t get stressed or overwhelmed but my brain just isn’t able to process stress.

Anyways, my dog is freaking out over some hound in our yard, better get him out. Bye!

  19. It's not a man purse it's a satchel says:

    😀 THANKS!

  20. Simone says:

You know, i had just figured out why that smile opened wider then the other when i saw that comment you posted. 😀 🙂 😉

  21. JuneLyn says:

    @ Simone

i guess that makes sense 🙂 im NOT home schooled and i would never want to be 🙂 you cant process stress!? lucky. i get stressed about stupid stuff never grades or anything cuz i always have a’s but i get stressed about family and stuff haha 🙂

oh my goodness that winkey face just reminded me of what my friend said….funny stuff anyways in case you guys were wondering, im a weirdo. a flat out weirdo. not in like a nerdy way or anything i just say weird stuff and im really loud and no one gets my jokes…. its a lonely life! 😀

  22. Simone says:

Yah a lot of people think homeschoolers are nerdy and DUMB but some have more spirit then public schoolers. Also, the middle school kids in this town AND the elementary school are saying cuss words like crazy. Now, unless you have a family who says cuss words, which i do NOT, you learn cuss words very very very slowly. I’m not saying that some kids don’t learn or say them at all, but most moms or dads who are decent enough to homeschool their kids, usually are good parents. Yah, i just don’t have room for stress. Family stuff? Oh yah, my little sister, she is 10, she is SO-O-O-OOOOOO stressed ALL the time. She’s gotten so touchy recently. Anyways, i have NO idea what stress would feel like. I mean, i am sure you probably have a lot for siblings then i do, but still, sometimes i wish i could know what it feels like. I have six siblings. 🙂 And TONS of pets, so i guess i am just caught up in them a lot. 😀

FOREVER ALONE o-O 😀 That’s from my older brother’s rage comics. 😀 So sorry if i bored you. 😉

  23. it's not a man purse it's a satchel says:

what town do you live in @Simone?

  24. Simone says:

This is kind of awkward to say so I’ll just say it. “Why do you want to know? Just “because”? Anyways, i am reading the Hobbit for the 10th time and it is getting better and better! SO EXCITED!

  25. It's not a man purse it's a satchel says:

No one on this blog talks about Morpheus Road or Pendragon anymore. Woah that was cool! I just typed half of the word Pendragon and the auto correct typed the rest of the word for me! Hey D.J. MacHale, did you set that up for smart phones on this website? Anyway, we need to talk about Pendragon and Morpheus Road more.

  26. Simone says:

Yeah, i agree. Also, in the end of the last book in the Pendragon series, i almost thought that Bobby Pendragon had forgotten they had even gone and done what they had. What did you guys think about it? I mean DUH he did “do” it…but do you think he forgot about it? I don’t know. Hey, It’s not a man purse it’s a satchel, what did you like or dislike about the Pendragon books?

  27. The Doctor says:

I think that the epilogue of Soldiers of Halla was supposed to be a sort of alternate universe in which Bobby never found out about being a Traveler. That way he would get to live a normal human life. But when Press gives him his journal to read, it makes him aware that this alternate universe is not the true universe and as he reads it, he remembers everything that *really* happened. At least that’s what I think.

  28. JuneLyn says:

this is all so confusing for me im only on number six cuz i stopped reading them (dont ask why i have no idea)…oh wait i remember it was checked out riiight anyways i just finished peter and the starcatchers it was really good 🙂 but now i dont have anything to read…guess ill just work on my site!

your sister will probably only get worse from here on. Thats what i did! not any better now. 🙂 did you know that pendragon swears? i didnt so i said one word from it and my dad got so mad (i dont understand why i didnt even know it was bad!) but yah random tidbit of information. 🙂

  29. It's not a man purse it's a satchel says:

I actually haven’t Pendragon yet. The way I found out about Morpheus Road was that D.J. MacHale visited my school when he was on tour for the light. So then I read it but I haven’t had time to read Pendragon

  30. Simone says:

    @ The Doctor

I seem to have gotten caught up in your words. I don’t really understand what you said, actually. 🙂 Could you explain a little?

Pendragon swears? Do you mean like a REALLY bad cuss words or something a bit smaller?

    @It’s not a man purse it’s a satchel

WOW! He went to your school! AMAZING

  31. it's not a man purse it's a satchel says:

Yeah it was cool. He told us that he also wasn’t in love with the title “the light”, but it made sense. He also read us the scene that he based off of something that happened to him when he was a teenager. And he signed my friend Emilio’s book saying, ” To Emilio. Get scared.” But the best part was that I got out of english class to go see him.

  32. The Doctor says:

Okay, according to science fiction, there are many universes that exist that are just like the one we live in. Whenever a major decision is made in this universe, it creates another alternate universe in which the decision was made differently. For example, Word War I began when Archduke Ferninand was assassinated. In an alternate universe, he might *not* have been killed and the war might never have started (or would have started differently).

In this universe, Bobby went with Uncle Press to become a Traveler. But after events in Soldiers of Halla, he was given another chance. He was able to experience an alternate universe in which he never went with Press and was able to live a normal life. It’s only at the end of his life, that he was reminded of events in the real universe. That way it was like living two lives. His true destiny was to be a Traveler but he also got to experience a full life before returning to Solara.

Whew…I hope that helped and I didn’t just make it more confusing.

If you still want to know more about alternate universes, you should check out a 1990’s TV series called “Sliders.” It’s all about alternate universes.

  33. it's not a man purse it's a satchel says:

There’s another show that talks about that sort of thing too. It’s called Flash Forward. It talks a lot about quantam phisics and how there are always more than one possibility for every situation. They even say that when a situation with two possible eventuallities occurs, that they are both happening at the same time. Like if someone was drowning someone, then that person survives and dies at the same time. But it’s up to the person drowning them that decides which one will happen at the end. But in another universe, the opposite thing happens.
That didn’t take long to explain at all.

  34. Simone says:

    @ The Doctor

Ohh…yeah i get it. Wow you have a great mind. I think i will check that show out.

    @It’s not a man purse it’s a satchel
haha, you got out of English class? Sometimes i wish i could have gotten to go to school past 3rd grade to see how torturous it is for you guys ;D

  35. JuneLyn says:

schools not as bad as every one says! i love school and wouldnt be able to survive if i couldnt go to school everyday! id kill somebody 🙂

all swear words are bad i dont know what you mean about if its really bad or not. its the b word but not the bi one you know? its the ba one……anyways if that doesnt make sense sorry.

  36. it's not a man purse it's a satchel says:

I got 3 books I’m reading right now. Two for my current english class, and two that I need to finish before March 27. I’ve been putting them off for a long time. One is a fantasy about these weird cats, one is about steroids, and the other is to kill a mockingbird. It doesn’t make any sense there’s not one bird in the whole story!

  37. it's not a man purse it's a satchel says:

I forgot to tell you guys… yesterday I ate some mentos and drank some soda at the same time. It didn’t explode. 🙁

  38. The Doctor says:

    @it’s not a man purse it’s a satchel

I believe the title “To Kill a Mockingbird” is just a metaphor.

  39. Simone says:

    I’m afraid i don’t know what you mean. 😀

    @It’s a man purse it’s a satchel

What is the cat book titled? My brother read “To kill a mocking bird” he doesn’t like rarely any books, he’d rather kickflip the eight stair. 😉 Yeah, i have….let’s see….i have six or seven books i have to or am reading just for the fun of it. 🙂 Sometimes it gets confusing.

I’ve watched someone do that trick before and it is amazing!
Also, my brother and his friend did the “cinnamon challenge” yesterday. UGH! He almost did it but then the room exploded in brown smoke. 😉

  40. It's not a man purse it's a satchel says:

The cat book is called Warriors. I think it’s British

  41. It's not a man purse it's a satchel says:

Hey so to have an icon photo on your comments you have to have a website right? Well I noticed D.J. MacHale has a photo of himself when he comments. So he must have a website right? I wish I knew what it was called

  42. BuggyReality says:

No you need a gravatar linked to your email.

  43. it's not a man purse it's a satchel says:

Oh. But I know D.J. MacHale has a website… I just wish I knew what it was.

  44. it's not a man purse it's a satchel says:

    I’m supposed to be doing homework now, but I’d rather be chatting online with a bunch of strangers from all over the country instead. 🙂 😀 🙂 😀 🙂 😀 🙂 😀 🙂 😀 🙂 😀 🙂 😀 🙂 😀 🙂

  45. Simone says:

    @It’s a man purse it’s a satchel

BAHAHAHAHA! I laughed for a whole minute when i saw your comment. Sigh….HAHAHAHAHAHAhahahahaha!

  46. Simone says:

I feel really stupid asking this but….i couldn’t find it anywhere….is The Blood out yet?

  47. JuneLyn says:

@its not a mans purse its a satchel

…your kinda on DJ MacHale’s site right now…..

    ehh sorry its confusing. 🙂

whats a gravatar? and how do you get it?

  48. Simone says:

    No idea. 😉

  49. Dominic says:

  50. it's not a man purse it's a satchel says:
